For a Jedi, Quinn didn't really fit the mould of the ones Temra had encountered before, but he did sense something within her and accordingly, had little reason to doubt her claim.

"To deal so crassly in human life would dishonor the memory of the man this clinic is named for. All life is of value, Miss Largo's and Ms Fikaik's. Neither shall be surrendered to you given the low regard in which you hold their existence."

And through it all, Temra really wished he had the foresight to be armed and armored this morning. Even as he spoke though, he typed a message on his datapad to their receptionist to trigger the silent alarm and notify the rangers of their emergency.

Kor was also surprised at the easy with which the Mandalorian went down but he wasn't going to look a gift nerf in the mouth. He put binders on the woman and moved her to a corner out of the way but still in sight to all in the room.

When the others started talking he listened for a while before speaking up "Hey Quinn isn't going anywhere she doesn't want to. I was nice to your friend here but don't expect the same treatment now that you have fair warning. Attack this hospital and I'll fight hard to protect it and Quinn."

"That's really scary, big man." The voice echoes from the outside. "At least I assume you are the bulky bastard we saw enter the building. Why don't you come out here and face a real man instead of beating on some little girl, eh?"

Meanwhile, Quinn went to search the unconscious mandalorian. Maybe she still had one of those foam grenades...

The unconscious Mandalorian did in fact have 3 more grenades on her person. Though, whether or not they were the foam ones was anyone's guess. At least they didn't look to be the regular, explosive kinds you would be more familiar with, which did at least confirm the non lethal assault on here. There are a few markings to label it for her sake in a , but without the proper time to sit and do figure it all out, it could do any number of things. She did also have on her a vibrospear, though a much different kind than the one you've seen. The vibration appeared to be quieter than the other models. Turning it on didn't make it vibrate as loudly.

After giving her a more thorough search, she was definitely more equipped for ambushes and quiet assaults than she was for a head-on fight.

She held out the grenades for Kor, with a 'should we?' look on her face. She had no idea how grenades worked.

Temra moved over to the unconscious intruder. He disconnected her comms in case the other Mandos could hear their chatter, then waited patiently.

The longer this drew out, the better chances of the cavalry arriving.

Kor shook his head conveying a 'not yet' message. He liked that they had them as an option but a fight breaking out inside the facility was the last thing they wanted.

"Hey you want me, you can get me." He yelled down to them and then turned to the group and spoke more quietly "this isn't a place we can stay if a fight is going to happen, I'm going out there."

Temra rested a hand on Kor's shoulder.

"There is only one entrance, two of us, and reinforcements on the way. Ms Red at reception has triggered the silent alarm, we just have to hold out until the Rangers arrive, no heroics required. Besides, I can't let you walk out there alone anyway."

"Big talk from a coward who won't come out here." The voice bellowed out from there. A slow pause occurs and there is silence. A few moments later, the voice returns. "Alright, so I'll tell you what. You have one, count them, one minute to surrender or we are coming in there and doing this by force. And I can promise you, the young Miss Largo is not going to be happy with our entrance. Neither will you, doc. The choice is yours: do this the easy way, or we do this the really easy way."

Ignoring the bluster of the Mandalorian, Temra extends his senses to try and get an idea of how many foes were really out there...

From a casual sense of the area, you can only sense one unfamiliar being within your range and that would be the Mandalorian currently on the ground. Unfortunately, they seem to be beyond the range of your senses to detect accurately.

Kor looked to Temra "I think we have to go out there even if it is to stall. The calvary isn't going to be here in a minute and we can't take the chance that he won't hurt other patients, I checked my ax at the front desk nut unfortunately i didn't bring my armor." Kor hoped it wouldn't come to a full fight but there were no guarantees in this situation.

Temra nods in acceptance. "And all my gear is up in my room, I doubt they'll allow me time to appropriately prepare myself."

Temra turns to Quinn and offers her an only slightly condescending smile. "Stay here, it's you they want not us. Hopefully we can stall them until further assistance arrives." He suggests to the young patient to whom he still owed a significant duty of care.

"No. Like you said, they're here for me. I'm not going to let others take a hit for me. Besides, they need me alive."

She handed the grenades over to Kor.

"I'm going out there. You two should stay back a little. If it looks like they're grabbing me to take off, toss one of those foam grenades at 'em."

At that point, unless stopped, Quinn would walk out.

It sounded like Quinn had a plan, so Temra followed her out picking up the intruder's spear on the way, keeping a little distance between them, but ready to ineffectually jump to her aid if required.

Walking out of the door, you do notice in the pouring rain a small group of well armored individuals, though none in them were in full armor garb. Well, everyone but the man standing in the center of the group holding a grenade launcher in his hands.

"Oh good, you wizened up. And...decided not to come alone then, have you?" His voice is still loud, breaking thru the roar of the pouring rain, making him clearly heard to you all. "So where is the other one?"

"That doesn't matter," she said, lightsaber in hand. It wasn't on at the moment, but it was possible they would recognize what it was.

"What matters is that I *am* a Jedi. That I'm *not* going to go back home. And that you're all a hell of a lot better off taking on another job. Or hadn't you noticed the star destroyer above our heads, and that inquisitor running around? Even if you manage to actually capture me, which is a big if, you think they're just going to let you run off with a jedi under your arms? They've been hunting people like me for a long time now. And then I'm going to get stuck in the crossfire, and like I tried making clear earlier... if I get hurt... well, I think you know what my family is capable of. No pay-day is worth that kind of trouble."

Jedi, payday, family... All were words Temra never would've associated with Quinn before this morning. He was incredibly confused, though it was obvious there was more to her than met the eye, but it didn't change his position. He had nothing to add to her speech, but his unwavering presence and support.

He looks over at the both of you, staring at the lightsaber for a good moment and bellows out a loud laugh. "You really must think you are more powerful than you think. As I said before, I am not afraid of a Jedi. This armor has bathed in the blood of countless members of your ilk. That you think this small show of force would enough for me to fear you is pathetic. He points the grenade launcher out directly at you. "Just a few shots from this alone would be enough to take care of you." He grabs it and starts to aim at Quinn, adjusting for the wind pattern and rainfall. "But...you do bring up a good point. Empire's here and even though they are weakened, they would hate your ilk more. Get in the way of my bounty. Plus, I know where you are now. Not letting a payday from you get away from me. So, I'll tell you what: bring me the armor and that spear and we'll call it a day for today. A temporary truce, as it were."

It is a decent argument...so no setbacks: 2eC 2 failures
