Eat It (D8, EE, Ivory Phoenix)

At least food was still available on the planet despite the occupation, and the Ivory Phoenix was filled with the savory aroma of homecooking. A good meal for the group at least would be a good thing now, compared to the fast and easy meals they'd had the last couple of days.

So Fey had spent a bit more time in the kitchen today, adding the touches to the meal that would make it a bit more special and extra something. So tonight there would be freshly made lasagna, with salad and homemade garlic bread. Dishes like these could be done quick and easy, but the moment you stopped to make things from scratch it made it a whole lot more special.

"Guys, dinner!" the twi'lek called out to the others as she placed the lasagna on the table. For the dinner, she had even opened a couple of bottles of wine to go with the food. Noventa didn't have anything like a Corellian red to go with it, so she hoped this would be fine.

Jelna walked into the kitchen with her hands planted in her jacket. She still was in her sleuth posture, though her lips had a warm smile. "Howdy, Cefey," she announced before striding over to the set the rest of the plates. "Remember that factory? I heard they're lookin' for a delivery girl. She has to be cute too."

"Bonsoir, capitaine," Fey smiled to the captain. "Oh? Are you looking for a new job, or suggesting I apply for the job?"

[Kai Wryssald]

"I think the Captain would look cute dressed as a delivery girl." Kai said with a chuckle as he stepped into the room. "Tight pants, a hat and a ponytail. It'd look good." No skirt though, Jelna would likely object if he added a skirt.

Stepping into the room more fully he offered the pair a smile. "What did you make, Honey? It smells delicious."

"Lasagna!" she proudly exclaimed. "We could do with a more proper dinner after these past days. Good food is good for the mood."

And well, today she'd been stuck doing creative things. Repairing, creating, sticking her toes into crime, and now cooking. "Oh, that reminds me, I have something for you, darling." Fey's hands slipped into the pockets of her jacket that was on her chair, and pulled out what looked like newly made brass knuckles. "I think I managed to make it a fit for you? Still, put some of that scrap you brought back to good use." Giving him a smile, she passed the weapon over to him.

"Oooohhh." Kai seemed pleased at the prospect, he really did enjoy lasagna.

At the presentation of the girl, he rounded the table to claim it, looking it over for a few moments before leaning in to give the tei'lek a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks, Honey." He offered with a grin, as he slipped them onto his hand to test the size. "These will come in really handy in the future." Maybe he could manage to wear them and still fire his rifle as well. At the very least he should give it a try.

"Well, the new owners certainly need someone to relieve them of some their excess stuff they don't need," Jelna said with a wink. She looked at Kai and shrugged. "I think they're lookin' for twi'lek more than blonde. Well, maybe they won't even notice her at all."

Jelna glanced at the brass knuckles. "I heard ya can throw a good punch. I guess I shouldn't be surprised."

Jelna seemed to be talking about some sort of business, some he didn't even really know anything about, so Kai simply nodded. The girls tended to get in all kinds of messes, and he was used to that by now.

"I'd be surprised if you were surprised." He teased in return. "you use the same muscles for swinging your fist as you do swinging a Vibroblade." she'd seen him do that at the very least. "Though I wouldn't suggest to anyoen that they punch a nexu."

"Looking for a twi'lek, huh?" she chuckled, "maybe it's worth a looksie. Hope their uniforms are cute." Fey on the other hand wasn't quite sure what Jelna was getting to, but she had a few good hunches.

Taking a seat, Fey started to pile food on the plates for the others. There seemed to be more than enough, so there would probably be leftovers... depending on how hungry Kai was. "Anymore nexu trouble for you two, or...?"

"Not for me." Kai replied as he took his seat, picking up the bottle of wine and starting to fill everyones glasses.

"And if Jelna is going wandering into that forest looking for Nexu all on her lonesome, she might a spanking in store." He added teasingly his eyes flicking to the captain, before turning to Cefey as she placed a portion on his plate. "Thanks, Honey."

"I ain't goin' to look for anymore nexu. The forest wasn't worth goin' to in the least." Jelna crossed her arms. "This planet wasn't really worth comin' to. But we're here now, and we gotta do what we gotta do."

"You're welcome," she nodded to Kai and Jelna's plate was next. Oh right, will have to bring some of this to the 'guest' later.

"I don't know what's worth seeing in a forest anyway... but yeah, we're here now, and might as well make the most of it. Or at least try to."

"Babe had wanted to go treasure hunting." Kai explained with a easy smile. "I wanted to see if it was q good place for a picnic or something. It's nice to get out into nature from time to time."

He picked up his glass of wine. "Should we make a toast or something?"

"Not sure what we have to toast to. Planet's a mess, ain't it?" Jelna smirked and looked at them. "And I feel like sayin' that it's to the well-being of the crew is a bit lazy."

"When the planets a mess like this us when its most important to toast to our well being." Kai replied with a slight smile. "At least in my book."

"So, to our continued well being and health?" May they all make it off this shit hole in one piece.
