The amount of interference in the field was infuriating today. It was causing a great deal of strain on the ship's systems trying to deal with it and the scanners were having a hard time picking up anything. Which was why they didn't pick up some piece of debris that got pulled into the engines. The sudden rocking of the ship was the first indicator that something was wrong. Farkas left that to Syzygy and Sharn to deal with in the immediate, simply following any orders they had to make sure that they were still flying.

After that was all sorted out they got back to it, recovering a nicer piece of intact engine from a similar class... cruel, ironic fate. But after that, the interference prevented finding much else. It was simply a bad day to be out in the field it seemed. Farkas wondered if anyone was even going out with so much interference.

Likely not...

"Are we doing anything else out here?" Zygy asked. "Normally, I'd want to spend all day flying, but not with all of this."

[Sharn]

"Engine repair comes first." Sharn said, not hiding his displeasure with the situation. "The planet holds some idiotic agricultural celebration today so the black may still be a nicer option for the afternoon. We may check the comm distortions."

[Farkas Lowca]

"I have a side job in the evening. I believe they may be using the celebration as cover, given the timing," Farkas says. "So lets do the repairs and get an initial look at the relays before I have to head down for that."

Sharn nodded. "I couldn't care less about whatever is going to be missing from the inventory of current planetary rulers, just don't get caught."

[Syzygy Anion]

"I'm going to thg he festival." she shrugged. "It could be fun."

[Sharn]

"...Then I'll be there too." As much as Sharn despised crowds, they were an ideal spot to effect a turn of events Nygmus may attempt. He didn't want Zygy to be without him in such a case.

[Syzygy Anion]

"Even more fun." she grinned mischievously. "Maybe you can win me one of those plush toys."

[Sharn]

"Do you fancy those?" He kept his deadpan.

[Syzygy Anion]

"If they're cute." She nodded. "And, won for me."

[Sharn]

"If they have those that are endearing representations of Chiss species, I'll get you one." He replied in artificially detached tone.

[Syzygy Anion]

"Or, maybe a loth-cat?."

[Sharn]

"Loth-cat? If you really want something this ugly and annoying..." He shrugged, apparently nonplussed by the idea.

She stuck her tongue out playfully.

"I just want something silly." She shrugged. "I don't have enough silly things."

[Sharn]

"Why would you want silly things?" This was a serious question. Sharn was wondering about their purpose.

[Syzygy Anion]

"They are a good distraction from the less silly things." she shrugged. "Just a little whimsy to disrupt any potential monotony."

The concept was foreign to Sharn. He was never bored having himself around. So he just shrugged at that. "To each their own."
