The binders were easy enough to undo, with the time now available.

The groaning grew fainter from the hallfoam. Whether from exhaustion or expiration, one couldn't really tell.

Soren began looking for the source of the groaning as he finished up unlocking a set of binders...

Hearing the groan, he moved towards it, hands brushing through the foam to find the source.

As the groaning grew more intense, Cal redoubled his efforts.

With two people after whoever was groaning, and not really being a medic of any skill, Kai helped out as best he could. Letting people out of binders, or helping those who were free find the exit. He wanted to check some of the other farmers for rocket boots, he always wanted a pair, but such wasn't very pressing of a matter.

Hopefully Cefey got a hold of the authorities shortly.

Clearing the SecureFoam, they found, unconscious, bleeding, but very much alive, one of the 'farmers'. Short cropped hair, and beneath the collar, a tattoo of the Imperial Cog.

Kai, checking the nearest of the hijackers... you do find a pair on him. Seems they were prepared for a quick getaway.

The hostages were shaken, some obviously traumatized by the events of seeing friends, co workers killed by the hijackers.

Soren approached the imperial and looked him up and down as well. If he had boots on he'd take them off and put them to the side.

"Any of you good with wounds?" He asked simply. "We probably want this one alive."

[Cefey Raneth]

Fey had finished cleaning out her commlink enough so that the foam wouldn't clog everything up as she got on the line to contact the Militia. They had been brought in on a speeder, so it probably was no surprise they were calling in.

"Be right there," she gave a wave to the Rattataki man that she didn't know as she waded through the remains of the foam, grabbing for the medpac in her belt with her free hand.

"I'm not much use here. I should get out there and see if I can get a visual on where they're going." He said as he stood and put the pair of jet boots from the injured man in his right hand.

Kor walked over to the unconscious man putting his axe away and cracked his knuckles "perfect, I was afraid we weren't going to have anyone to talk to when this all was said and done. Glad one of them was more resilient than the rest." Kor knew his way around an interrogation and it had been to long since he had really gotten to flex those muscles.

Well with all the healing and torturing, as well as sky tracking going on, Kai figured he may as well make himself useful by policing the bodies.

Ticket boots would be removed, blaster carbines stacked, and any grenades or other possibly dangerous or informative items would be stacked to the side. Never knew what people might carry after all. Plus maybe the authorities would let them keep some of it.

The only equipment the 'farmers' seemed to have on them were the carbines, comm links, and the rocket boots. One could surmise that they weren't expecting the amount of resistance encountered, or to face off against anyone called in.

Soren, if you went to look, you could see the disappating trails of the thrusters from the boots, heading off to the west.

The unconscious trooper didn't stir, yet his breathing was shallow, and ragged.

Fey looked at the "prisoner" as her commlink rang up. "Hello? We stopped the hauler. There are injured civilians, and we have confirmed one captive," she said into the headpiece as she started to stabilize the trooper. The military-grade medpac was well-designed for this kind of field work as it was intended for soldiers with only the most basic training to give first aid.

"He'll live, but he should probably get a doctor to look at him if he's going to be interrogated," she shot a look to Korvalus. There was perhaps a small flicker of sympathy for the trooper in her eyes before she looked away.

Packing light, they wanted to be in and out in short order, and not bee too loud about it either. Otherwise they would of brought some grenades.

Still he did a quick inventory of number of carbines and pairs of boots, as in the mayhem he had kind of lost out of all the people he was shooting at.

Soren quickly took off his shoes and put on the jet boots. He climbed up to the same window as the troopers had escaped from and prepared to follow.

Here goes nothing... Wonder how these things work...

Kai. From those left, you manage to find four sets of rocket boots that appear to be in good working order. There are also 7 blaster carbines, standard stormtrooper issue, that have been recovered.

Soren, using them would take some getting used to, but is possible. Given the time of the crash, and their leaving, the vapor trails are dissipating quickly. You have one shot to track them. Survival, formidable, the difficulty based one how quickly the trail is dissipating. 2 setback, one from the weather, and one from being knocked around in the secure foam.

Cal frowned. "Let's bring him in. Make sure he's in good enough shape to talk. I'll bet Commander Leo can get him a secure cell in a secure place, once he gets some medical treatment." Perhaps not from the Doc, he thought. Didn't want to put her in an uncomfortable position.

[Soren Lom]

Soren kicked the boots into action and began on the trail heading west as fast as they would take him through the inclement weather. His abilities to track were put to the test, but did not fail on this occasion.

Whether through sheer skill or pure luck, Soren, you are able to stay on that trail.

Blue Hair and her minion are at Long Range from you. This is a chase sequence. Which means this will rely on competitive Piloting (Planetary) checks. As a word of Warning: Rocket boots have a system strain of 3. At the end of each turn, they will deplete 1 system strain, as they begin to run out of fuel. It's quick get away style. If you're still in the air, you could take falling damage (the most deadly of Star Wars damage). You are at long range from the ground. They are at Medium range to the ground.

Blue Hair turns to see the Rattataki in pursuit, already beginning her descent. Looking to her cohort, she hand signals, not wanting to stay aloft too long.

Soren kept tight on their trail as he too followed suit and got closer to the ground. Over his comm he called out to the others who were in the party and possibly the Sector Rangers, "This is Soren. I'm in pursuit of the hijackers. We are heading west from the crash site. Calling for backup."
