"Much smoother than yesterday, especially considering the increased threats in the area. Minus a few bumps due to unexpected dissonant resonance from some of the more active debris, it wasn't so bad," Farkas says. "Nothing that stands out though."

"I'll deal with the strain quick enough. Overall, not bad." Sharn concluded after everything was safe in the cargo load. "It will come handy soon enough. Sy, do you know that today we're meeting the pirates who were shooting at us yesterday? They sent us an invitation for drinks this morning."

"Oh, really?" she glanced over. "That should be interesting. They aren't going to shoot at us again, are they?"

"Unlikely, though not impossible." Sharn mused. "I believe they may have something akin a business proposal for us. Given how much south the talks with those bureaucrats have gone, I see this is a potential opportunity." He paused. "They have a Venator-class cruiser in this debris belt."

"Mmm..." she mulled over the information. "We'll see. It better be a good offer."

"Mm. By the way, what are your thoughts about the Cloakshade? Farkas has suggested either it's repaired and kept or sold, or taken apart and its weaponry used to improve the Charm. I withhold my opinion for now."

"I'd like to fly it." she admitted. "But, whatever would benefit all of us would be best."

"I'm fine with that," Farkas says with a shrug.

"Let's fix it, let Sy test it, and then either sell it, keep it or scrap it based on circumstances."

He corrected the exhaust calibration by adjusting standard engine fuel intake as an afterthought.
