[D3-EE] Always Bet on Black (Ralligo's Hoppin' Tables)

It had been awhile since he had come to Providencetown and, despite arriving here early, it was obvious that the boss wasn't going to see him till the prescribed time. And, what with her likely keeping tabs on what he was doing while he was here, it left him with few options what to do while he waited. Getting completely trashed was something that could have happened, but being sober was wise enough for what was to come. So, what better way to handle this situation than to earn a few credits and enjoy the pace of the evening before its inevitable downfall.

The casino was hopping, likely filled with people preparing to attend Vida's little sex-filled soirée in a few hours. Would be interesting to join, but he'd stand out like a sore thumb there with her around. She was always very careful about it, and his appearance would only throw her off the game she was likely hoping to play.

Besides, he had his own games to worry about.

After winning a sizable amount at the Pazaak table, he decided to switch it up after the recent play with those quazi-mercenaries and play Sabbac. Hopefully he'd have better luck than the other day.

Before dressing up the other girls, Fey would entertain herself with some more cardgames and returned to the same place she visited the night before. She wasn't going to the sex-filled soirée herself, having no interest in going to such places herself... for her, even if those people weren't slave, it was a subject too close to home and too uncomfortable for her.

Low-key but well-dressed, the blue twi'lek returned to the sabacc tables. "Bonsoir," she cooed happily as she joined a free table.

Yesterday had been good to her. Today might not be. Such was the life of a gambler. With that mindset she found herself in the casino, just walking around looking for an interesting table to play when she came across...

...two familiar faces. Both of whom she'd already played against at some point.

She approached.

"Oh, hello again."

"Bonsoir." He responds, moving two fingers around to simulate a lekku in his response. That Quinn came in shortly after was something of interest as well.

The little one liked to play card games after all. "Quinn, my dear, fancy to see you hear."

The gesture to simulate a lekku made her giggle.

"Ah, Quinn! Here again? Seems it will be fun again tonight then."

"Well, well, two of my favorite people," she said, all full of charm. "What's the game?"

He smiled at her emotion with it. Ryl was always a pain to speak, much less fully interpret, without a lekku. Then there was that whole ordeal with their own hidden language. That was just beyond him all together. "Quinn, I see you've found your way into the big people's table." He nodded at the young one. "Sabacc. I already earnt enough play money over at the Pazaak table, so I figure why not play with something I'm not as good with."

"Pull up a seat next, stay awhile. You seemed so intent on taking my credits last time. Maybe this time you'll get a chance."

[Quinn Largo]

"Don't mind if I do," she said. "Take your money, that is."

She smiled, and took a seat. The 'harmless kid' routine wasn't going to work here. At least, not through taking the usual route.

[Cefey Raneth]

"It is a petite world," Fey mused at how these two already knew eachother, and leaned a little closer to Quinn. "Who is your charming friend?"

[Quinn Largo]

"Oh, he comes to the bar sometimes."

[Dartris Ribmatt]

"On occasion, yes." He extends his hand to the Twi'lek in greeting. "Dartris Ribmatt. Pleasure for sure."

[Cefey Raneth]

"I'm Fey. Noveau arrival on Noventa," she accepted his hand in greeting, giving the hand a gentle squeeze rather than just the dainty touch of a lady.

"Shall we play?"

"What's the bet?"

The dealer this time was a droid instead of a human. It slid over to the table now that there were others gathering at it. "This table start at 100 credits. Please establish your starting bid now!" The voice is energetic and excited to be there.

[Quinn Largo]

"A hundred? Okay. Let's go for it."

Quinn tossed over the 100 credits.

Nodding, Fey placed down 100 credits for the starting bet.

[Dartris Ribmatt]

He smiles and places down a hundred credits down as well well in a nonchalant way. "Always happy to meet a beautiful Twi'lek, Fey." He smiles warmly at her and looks. "Newcomer to Noventa, then? Well, it's quite the longshot away from anything worth a damn. Been here 10 years, I like it well enough, but not the most exciting of places, I think."

The dealer starts passing along the deck with little fanfare as light jizz comes from his speakers to create a unique atmosphere for the players. The dealer gives the deck a good shuffle and passes the cards out to all of the players.

Dartris smiles as the cards are passed, staring directly into Quinn's adorable little face as she lays down quite the impressive hand, placing down a 23 on the nose.

"I am too." He gives a wide grin as he stares her down, looking for her reaction.
