She turned around and started walking up the stairs backwards with tawdry intent, "Big man, huh? What does the big man do then? Come show me."

She would guide him to the room and begin to make him feel comfortable as he explained some of who he was and who he answered to. Her level of interest and passion seeming to escalate with each secret that slipped. If the alcohol ended up knocking him off his feet and easing him into a comfortable rest, then all the better for Six... but she would take it as far as it needed to go without scruples to extract whatever she could from him.

"Barkeep! Check!" Torrid stands up quickly, having the alcohol rush to his body and slams his arm on the bar to stabilize him. "Know what, forget it." He slams down 75 credits on the table and follows slopply after Soren. "Yeah..so big man..as I said.." There was a large brim of confidence in him as he swaggered along.

"It's as simple as you want to make it... It really is." She said with a smile as she began walking up the steps.

The young Zabrak looks on at her, his defenses clearly saying that he wants to, but there is just this nagging feeling of what he wants to say will be bad for him should it get out.

"Well ..I can tell you a little..." He smiles now more confident and leans in. "[size=85]Well...you know the Black Sun? Well, I'm one of the guys who helps bring in the goods. Fool those stupid Sector Rangers every time, and make sure the boss gets what he needs.[/size]

She stood and slowly turned towards the stairs before turning back and saying, "Impress me. Come tell me what a big man you are..."

She shook her head and smiled, "A man isn't a big man by the power of his fists... it's by the power of influence he holds. Perhaps I seem shallow by wanting a man with a little bit of... shale we say... an ability to pamper me? But I know what I want. I want someone who can make me feel warm. Feel safe. Who when I lay down with... I know we're not going to be disturbed because I know no one would mess with him. I don't want a thug. I want a real man. Someone people are compelled to respect..."

"Oh, I can prove it!" He nodded eagerly, grabbing the fresh drink. [size=85]"Want me to kick somebody's ass? Cause I'll do that for you."[/size] He sipped his beer eagerly at the prospect, his blood pumping thru him and feeling a bit more sober than he was before, although that was clearly a illusion with his body movements, swaying left and right as the few drinks in him started to become apparent. [size=85]"Want me to kick his ass? I mean...I'll do it just to prove it...might have to go somewhere else, though if I do..."[/size] There was a tone of desperation in his voice, a small hint of when the last time this sort of interaction happened with him...

Wordlessly, Cal slid another beer across the table to the devaronian. He shot Six a mildly concerned glance, letting her know that he was there if she needed him. But as much as she was a friend, it was fair to say that he didn't quite understand her.

Six smiled slyly and leaned in, "So you want to [i]show[/i] me what a big man you are... I see. Well I got a room upstairs... If you can prove it to me maybe I'll invite you up."

"Well...how about we start with another drink and maybe we can see where it is we end up after that...maybe in the quarters on my ship?" Torrid smiles widely at that, signaling Cal to come over, downing the one he had quickly to make room for it. Slamming down the glass, he makes a grunting noise yet another glass of booze goes down into the table. "Barkeep, another!"

She leaned in closer to him and asked in a half-whisper. "And how do you propose we do that?"

He appears to be somewhat...hesitant in revealing the information, though he doesn't seem to pull away from you. "I...I don't know Six...my boss don't like me braggin bout stuff...you know how the life goes, do all sorts of exciting things, but you can't ever talk about it with others. Maan, it sucks..." A small pause and a smile as he stares at it. "Maaybe if we got to know each other better a little bit more..."

It doesn't look like he's quite figured out what it is you're trying to pull, and seems quite eager to discuss with you about it, but there's still that hesitancy within him that prevents him from letting it all out.

She leaned back out and met his foggy gaze with a look of interest and excitement. She patted her chest above her heart with her open hand, accentuating her fairly sizable breasts, "Wow... Smuggling? That is quite the exciting line of work!"

She pulled the tip of her index finger slowly along the length of his and began moving down the line of the other splayed fingers one by one. "I wouldn't know the first thing about what that would entail... Walk me through what one does on such an adventure."

I'm just a gofer for now, but you know, you get out there, act tough, do what you need to do, boss says I'll be heading my own run soon. So yeah, get out there, shooting blasters..." He grins. "...Meeting ladies, all that good stuff. Living the exciting life, yeah, that's what I do, y'know. Just get out there and do the smuggling gig, y'know. It's all good."

"Oh yeah?" She said as she drummed her fingertips gently on his knuckles in a pleasing way. "I find my work to be absolutely boring... You sound like you got a good gig for yourself. Is it exciting?"

She leaned in softly and whispered in his ear, "Does it get your heart beating?"

His eyes widen and grinned at the personal attention he was getting. "Ahh, well I am happy to be so interesting to you-you know, I..." he hesitates for a moment. "I do this and that. Gonna be a VERY important man 'round here soon..you know. Got me some jobs'n'makin money...so I get you, I get you. Though, I'm hopin' soon to make my mark in my company, y'know. Get that fat stack of creds."

"Not all that much really... I kind of go from job to job, only working when I really have to... I end up spending lots of time here in the bar talkin' to interesting people."

She smiled and reached her hand out to stroke the back of his, "And what is it you do? Man with your bearing seems like he's an important person in this town."

Torrid continues his large smile at her. "Torrid's the name, Six." There was a newfound confidence in himself that his line actually seemed to work. Who needed to go to Providencetown when he could get some action over here without shelling the credits over first? Crazy people, that's who.

"Tell me, Six, what do you do?" She lifts his back up from the bar, standing a bit taller than before to exhume more of a stature and confidence than before.
