A little crass, but it is an effective tool to have." Her accent was sharp, her demeanor seemingly of one always in control.

"Target in sight." Leo whispered into the comm as he leveled the massive hunting rifle, braced against the overlook of a building. Sweat dripped from his face as he watched the encounter through his scope.

Breathing out, taking a True Aim, he squeezed.

In an instant, the transparisteel bay window shattered as the blaster bolt lanced through it, striking the trooper through the torso, a slight movement at the last second putting him just slightly out of line.

The blast pierced through plastoid armor, dropping the trooper to the ground, the shot continuing through. Deltiss' eyes went wide as he looked down. His shirt burnt through as the movement of the trooper had put him in line of the shot as well, before another trooper dropped, before the blast impacted the wall.

"Kriff!" Leo called through the comm, horror at what had happened, as Deltiss dropped, still breathing, still alive, but in shock at the shot.

Triumph used for a critical to down a second minion. Two troopers down. The Despair is Deltiss was hit as well.

Combat begins. PC up

Cal's lips thinned, but there was no help for it. The shot was his signal to go.

Both guns were in his hands in a flash. He unleashed a wave of bolts at the admiral before diving wildly for cover, coming up behind a stuffed chair. His hat fell off in the roll; Cal grimaced, glancing down at it.

Verlasso's eyes went wide at the rapid shot from the Gunslinger. Feeling herself hamstrung as she clutched the massive blaster hit at her stomach, she was forced ti strain herself. "Get them!" Her Imperial Valor showing as she painfully reached for her own pistol, taking her shot at returning fire at Cal.

2 strain Maneuver: Imperial Valor. When hit by a ranged attack until the end of her next turn, an ally or helpless enemy who is Engaged with Verlasso will take the shot instead. The blaster pistol catches the Gunslinger square in the torso.

Well shit had hit the fan pretty quickly, still Kai was ready to act when it came to hit, his blaster moved from his side quickly, as he aimed and fired a shot at the admiral

Kor sprang into action his ax seeking the admirals neck to put an end to her little hostage situation l. Unfortunately the ax went wide and knocked her blaster from her hand and in the chaos cause the storm troopers to dodge the wide swath his ax cut causing difficulty for the enemy but perhaps making it easier for his allies to pick targets.

Maneuver to move from short to engaged with admiral

Action to attack, using 1 strain to frenzy

One of the heavy troopers jumped at Kor, despite being shook by his fearsome countenance., grabbing a baton from his back, swirling it about as energy crackled about the extended prod of it. Lunging at the big man, the Z6 Riot baton sparked with energy as it began spinning as the trooper attacked. (Maneuver: Draw Z6 Riot Baton. Action: Attack Kor).

The Second Heavy Trooper jumped over the desk, making their way to bring their Riot Baton against the former Stormtrooper, swinging the energized rod against the man, however the actions were unwieldy, and the baton went wide.

Both of the stun batons strike true, sparks flying from the armor but the large man is seemingly unaffected, whether from the armor he was wearing or an indomitable will is anyone's guess.

Korvalus raises his ax steadying his arm looking into the eyes of the admiral though she would only see the cold black visor in return as his modulated voice comes from the mask "it didn't have to be this way." He says as his ax comes down whistling through the air followed by a wet, meaty thunk as it embeds itself in the admiral.

Verlasso blinked. She didn't scream, she didn't cry out as the vicious melee weapon buried itself in her torso. A certain, well trained grim sneer crossed her face. A hand came up to Kor's helmet, as she nodded. "You're right..." she whispered, before falling to the ground, a heavy thud as she dropped.

The moment quickly passed as the Inquisitor rushed the massive armored warrior, her lightsaber whirling rapidly in a dance of death. The twin blades rapidly swung, slashing into the big man.

Attacking Kor (Intelligence 5, Lightsaber 4, Lightsaber Mastery (Int), Average Difficulty, Despair used to Upgrade attack. Damage 6, Linked 1, Breach 1, Crit 2. Destiny to upgrade attack. Kor spending Destiny to upgrade defense): 5eP+1eA+1eC+1eD 3 successes, 3 advantage

Cal cursed as a veritable rain of blaster fire surrounded him, forcing him deeper and deeper into the cover. He started to reach for one blaster as it was knocked from his hand, but the shattering window drew his attention. Before he knew it, his spare gun had been knocked from his hand, too. Maybe the pain was getting to him... in a flash, he drew a stimpack, injecting it into himself.

"Hey!" He called over the sounds of the blaster fire. "Don't do this! I'm a friend of your daughter's!" Of course, that was to the inquisitor, not to the stormtroopers; he rather carelessly tossed a stun grenade into the midst of them.

The massive group of Stormtroopers slump to the ground, as soon as the grenade goes off. However, being in such close quarters to the blast, Cal, you find yourself reeling a bit from it. Using the despair to upgrade the difficulty of your next check.

Returning fire, the lone remaining Trooper fires off at Jelna, a lucky shot catching her square in the center mass.

It's all happening so fast, and Yara's never seen a powered-up lightsaber from this close before--Quinn's had been further away, and also not so... evil-looking. Nevertheless, she can tell from the way it goes through Kor's armor like a warm knife through blue butter that he must be seriously hurt. She ducks closer, forcing herself not to flinch away from the red plasma blades, and hits Kor with a coagulant ampoule. With the armor plates in the way, it's hard to tell how much of the primary drug makes it directly to the wound, but at least the anesthetic ought to kick in from skin contact. Maybe it'll be a bit easier for him to focus and avoid the next blows.
