An Unexpected Arrival (D0 Morning)

It wasn't normally Temra's job to accept inventory, at least not medical inventory, but the delivery guy had been ringing that bell for a good five minutes now and no one else had answered.

With a sigh, he checked the docket with the packages before grunting his approval and signing for the shipment. Where the hell he was supposed to store this stuff though he had no idea. Did it need to be refrigerated? Was it special order for an existing patient? Standard restock?

Where was Yara when he really needed her.

"Uhhn..." Yara presses a hand over her mouth to muffle a yawn as she appears from the lab at the rear, a covered mug of caf in her other hand. It was all the breakfast she seemed to bother with on many mornings. In spite of the yawn, the doctor's hair is pulled back, her white coat crisp, and her cosmetics neatly applied. "What's that? Is it the vaccines already?'

Running his pointed claw down the inventory list, Temra nods.

"Vaccines, bandages, stationery supplies and a few things I don't recognize." He confirms as he hands over the manifest to the doctor.

"But the order request had your signature and everything matches the paperwork, so it seems to be legit."

The young security specialist was taking her routine morning scan of the place to make sure there were no break-ins or whatnot during the night before she spotted her co-workers. “Ah, good morning, you two.”

Raine moves in a bit closer to the two, glancing down at the manifest being passed around. “Something wrong? Is anything missing?”

Yara accepts the data flimsy with the hand not holding her drink, green eyes flicking down the list. "Looks in order. I don't see the antimicrobial plasgel, but they did say that might be back-ordered. Thanks, Temra."

Turning to set the flimsy down on the reception counter, she smiles warmly at Raine. "Good morning. No, we seem to be all right this time. No narcotics in this order to tempt the locals." Her brows arch ironically. "And I can't imagine there's much black market demand for Velmoc Flu vaccine." After all this time, she still hasn't lost the Core Worlds accent she once cultivated so carefully, though the clipped, authoritative syllables have softened just slightly around the edges over the course of a year on Noventa.
