(D3 EN) Late Office Hours

[Yara Suhr]

Back at the clinic after returning from Providencetown, Yara finds herself puttering around checking stock levels and updating a few records, sucking every now and then at a drink bulb filled with water. They've got late hours on the schedule tonight and there's always a possibility one or two more patients may come in; if not, she may as well get a few more things done and go to sleep well-hydrated. Hangovers, even mild ones, are for the unprepared.

[Lena Arcturus]

Lena slowly wobbled towards the clinic, sucking in a breath as she walked, and slowly, carefully entering the clinic. "Anyone here?"

[Yara Suhr]

"One moment," comes a voice from down the hall, then Yara appears in the receptionist's area, wearing a doctor's coat over her black dress from the party. The two red-haired women probably make an interesting visual contrast: one younger and one older, one in an extravagant white evening gown, the other in a businesslike white coat.

"Oh." Yara raises her eyebrows at the sight of Lena in her party getup. "Yes, we're available. Can I help you?"

"Oh." Yara raises her eyebrows at the sight of Lena in her party getup. "Yes, we're available. Can I help you?"

Lena waved weakly. "Thanks. I don't feel my ribs. Is that normal?" Her breath was shallow as she spoke.

[Yara Suhr]

"Your ribs?" Yara snags a datapad and comes around from behind the reception desk. "Do you mean your chest feels numb? Any pain?" The doctor's green eyes flick over Lena from head to toe, checking for symptoms.

[Lena Arcturus]

Lena patted the side of her dress, where it was visible and not prividing cleavage view. "IT feels tight." She took quick, shallow breaths as she spoke. "I'm afraid this dress might've broken something."

[Yara Suhr]

"I see." Luckily 'do not chuckle at the predicaments patients get themselves into... at least not to their faces' is an integral part of a galactic medical education. She pulls a small electro-stethophone from her pocket as she approaches Lena. "Do you feel well enough to fill in the intake and history forms? It should take only a minute or two."

[Lena Arcturus]

Lena felt distressed, but tried not to show it. And failed. "Sure, I can do that. I just..." She shrugged, the dress accidentally slipping off but she managed to catch it just in time.

"Gah! I never wear dresses like this, but I visited the shindig in Providencetown.."

[Yara Suhr]

"Oh, yes. Mulgin's party." Yara's lips twist wryly as she hands Lena the datapad. "It looks as if you went more formal than I did. Anyway, this should only take a moment to fill out. I'm Dr. Suhr, by the way." She tugs at the lapel of her coat so the name badge shows more clearly.
