Located near the resource rich southern pole of Noventa, Charnel Gulch is so called due to it's proximity to Mount Hamankarn, an active volcano, creating an interesting vista of snow and lava flows. The operation serves to harvest various metals and other minerals for use in construction and starship design.
Charnel Gulch is also home to a podracing circuit, the course moving through caves, chasms, and around through caverns around the volcano itself. Known for it's difficulty in handling, the track is a favorite on the Outer Rim Circuit, and the Charnel Gulch Classic is considered one of the most prestigious races to win.
