D1, MM - Informal Meeting (closed)

Tewzada had gotten up with the sun; Sure, there was always a bit of tiredness that came from changing planets, but she had habits to keep. Besides, she was technically here for work, not a vacation.

Closing the apartment door behind her, she half skipped down the stairs to where the smell of caff was coming from in the office. For now, she wore blue PJ's with fluffy white bantha on them and rainbow socks. She was up, but that didn't mean she needed to be on the clock yet.

Jozk arrived early at the office of course. Although GNN has been around since before the time of the clone wars, Jozk was not quite sure what to expect of the new administration. The outlet has passed through several hands during the conflicts that happened on the galaxy, and the editorial line has changed quite a bit over the course of its existance.

Nevertheless, the era of the Republic/Empire is over and Jozk founds that using this media to bring a new political movement based on the old concepts of self determination and governance for the Outer Rim could help him to bring his message to his fellow citizens.

He was wandering around, waiting in an annex room for whomever he had to meet.

Sailee dragged herself out of bed. Planetside schedules never sat well with her, and as a result, she was a horrible morning person. She trundled over to the caff machine in shorts and a tank top, sparing only a wave to the others as she tended the all-important business of refueling.

And then Tew found herself walking into the break room, where Jozk and Sailee were. She gave a kind of salute as she saw the two, "Ah, good morning fellow employees. Don't think I met either of you on the tour yesterday, but..."

She looked back and forth between the two, before settling on Sailee, "I'm guessing you must be the security and pilot Mister Sert mentioned. And you..." Tew turned to look at Jozk, "...let me guess, a contributor to the writing staff?"

The cathar with her thoroughly mussed mane of hair gave a thumbs up as she took a long draught of caff, topped her cup back off, and took a seat. "Sailee," she added, starting to wake up.

"Good to meecha," she looked the twi'lek up and down, her eyes just starting to properly process the world. Very good to meet you...

'' Jozk Hunari '' The old engineer presented himself to the twi'lek and to the cathar females. '' Myself i'm an engineer specialized on space ship architecture and production, but i have been involved in many political movements during my younger days.'' He explained a bit of his credentials to the young women. '' I think i'm here mostly to be some sort of liason between the news network and the locals, since well, i have lived here for almost all my life and had both good and bad experiences during that time.'' He adds.

'' I have watch some of your assigments as a journalist on the holonet, Ms. Star'Ti.'' He commented, looking for some small talk. Jozk's tone was as always, a bit serious but polite.

Tew nodded a bit at Sai in acknowledgement before turning back to Jozk, eyebrows raised, "You have, have you? And, if I can ask... what sort of impression of me did watching make upon you? I rarely get to hear direct feedback like this."

'' Well, apparently you should be a hard working woman. At least that is my impression, since i noticed how you went from rather small and uninteresing assigments to more and more complex ones. That tells me that you rather worked your way towards success.'' He explained.

'' But maybe i'm wrong. Feel free to correct me, Ms. Star'Ti''

Sailee turned to Jozk, slowly translating the exchange in her head. 'What do you think of my work?' 'Well, you try.'

After a moment, she couldn't help but burst into laughter, "Oh, that was brutal, old man."

That the cathar burst into laugher made Jozk to raise an eyebrow, but he didn't comment about it. He was totally serious, there was no sign of disrespectful attitude from him towards the Twi'lek nor towards the cathar. He waited for Tew's answer.

Tew seemed to mull over things for a moment before nodding, though not to Sailee's comment. Not that one would know, per say.

"Well, that's certainly not the answer I was expecting; For someone, even in the company at large, to know about the history of my work..."

She looked up at both of them, "Right then; That said, I'm not planning on working either of you any less hard that I've worked myself up until now. Not that I have much in mind per say, but once I get the scent of a story, I'll be counting on both of you."
