Quinn had woken up in the medical center; naturally she wouldn't have been able to go home straight after the surgery. There had to be a period of observation, medication to make sure the graft wasn't rejected and all that jizz.
She'd managed to get dressed by herself, which was quite the experience, and much less trouble than she'd been expecting it to be. Now she was back on the bed, resting some more, and getting used to the arm.

A knock came at the door. "Miss Quinn, the sensors indicate that you have awoken. Have I your permission to enter and check the monitors readings of your vitals?"

"Yes," she called out, sitting up. "That's fine."

Temra entered the room in a comical looking set of blue scrubs, an old fashioned paper chart in hand. "Well you certainly seem aware and in possession of your faculties. That's a good sign. Dr Suhr explained that the surgery went as well as could be expected, but one can never account for unforeseen complications."
He walked over to the diagnostic equipment and looked over the readouts with some hmmmm's and nods of his head. "Do you know where you are Miss Quinn?"

She raised a brow at him.
"Uh... the medical center?"

Almost able to hear Quinn's feelings about the stupidity of his question, Temra shrugs. "I know, it's a rather obvious question, but when one is under anaesthesia for any significant length of time, brain damage is a possibility that must be investigated. All information that was included in the surgical waiver you signed."
Turning around, Temra smiled. "However it appears these are all concerns that I am happy to let go of. You appear in perfect health Miss."

"Brain damage? Nobody told me I could get brain damage."

"It is a statistically insignificant chance, as likely as hitting an idiot's array in sabaac six times in a row." Temra explains. "I have never seen it happen, but it is an outlying possibility, although one you do not need to worry about any more."

She cocked her head at the Sabaac reference.
"...huh."

"We are talking fractions of a single percent. My apologies for the comparison, most patients are more familiar with the rarity of an outcome being explained in such terms than raw mathematical explanation."
"In layman's terms, you are in as good condition as can be expected. I would advise to take it easy for a few days, explore the improvements and limitations of your new appendage. Get used to the new strength of it, and I'd avoid handling anything fragile until you have fully come to...grips with its capabilities."

She raised her brow again.
Did he just make a joke?
"...thanks. Don't know how easy I'll be able to take it, but I'll try."

Temra heard a noise from outside the recovery room but paid it no mind, assuming it was just Raine with some unscheduled maintenance. She was tge security expert after all.
"Well the clinic is here to offer advice and follow up support if you need it. Sometimes the configurations need customisation depending on the individual needs of the recipient."

"Thanks... it feels like it's working pretty well."
She moved it about a little, as if to emphasize the point.

Kor came into the medical center to check on Quinn after her surgery. He had been there last night while it was happening but she had been knocked out after it was over. He left after he was sure she was ok and the doctors told him he needed to get some sleep.
He walked into Quinn's room and nodded to the other man who Kor had seen about here and there. Kor then turned to Quinn, "Hey kid, how's that new arm treating ya?"

She then looked at the sound of the door opening, ready to ignite and swing her lightsaber...
...but it was only Kor.
"Oh. Hey. It's pretty cool huh?"
She flexed her left arm, all chrome and what not.
