How far are most locations between each other? and how will travel time be handled for timeslots tracking?

More a request than a question, but could we get the planet dossier from Discord reposted into the the background info forum? Navigating to pins in Discord is... annoying, at best. And not everyone's on there.

We have the notes for it somewhere; I'll make sure it gets posted somewhere clear. I'll post a link on it here when it's up.

Already in the works, as I said in the chat. Just had a bit of a delay getting it on for various reasons.

Don't worry about travel with timeslots. It is assumed one can catch an airspeeder to cover large distances, or a sub orbital flight to get to further places if needed. Travel time was never important in Star Wars, unless the plot needed it to be.

Since I might as well get the Force roll done with soon for the impending session 1 (no rush, I know)...
What shall we log our rolls as in Orokos? Noventa?

How does using characters as improvised weapons work? Both hitting a guy with another guy and throwing my friends at my enemies.
Getting it out of the way early.

This might be a stupid question
I suppose that if we want to post in a nonspecific location or area inside one of the subforums, like Lower Providence Town but neither the Bazaar or the Wookie Codpiece, we can, right?

Come game start, yes, but right now no.
During Pre-game you're limited to location and slots.
Pre-game rules.

Does staying up for the pregame Night slot affect Day 1 morning condition?

Nope. Especially as D0 is only 4 slots versus the normal amount, in a 36 hour day.

Can you sponsor someone else for podracing? Rather, can you get someone else a pod?

How do you mean? If you owned a Podracer, could you lend it to someone to pilot, and earn the percentage?

I think this is just "Can the person making the streetwise/underworld checks and the person making the piloting (planetary) checks be two different PCs? Or does the PC finding the sponsor need tobe the pilot?"

Yes. People can work together on this. The aid maneuver cannot be used, but the checks can be made by separate people.

Does the Find A Sponsor streetwise check count as a social check for the purposes of Loom?

What is the wording on Loom?

It's different than I thought it was!
When an ally engaged with
the character makes a
successful Charm,
Deception, or Negotiation
check, the character adds
[Advantage] per rank in Coercion to
the ally's check.
I thought it said "social checks." I would still ask, since it seems like the Streetwise check is a (perfectly cromulent) abstraction of a scene that might involve those other skills.

So. Here's what I'll do. In order for Loom to take effect in this situation, the person with Loom will have to be there, doing the aid another maneuver. The streetwise check will also gain a boost die.
However, because it will look like the person making the check is bringing heavy muscle with them... there will also be a challenge die added to the check, as the various sponsors will be quite wary of dealing with the situation.
Sound good?
