For various reasons Kai had woke late, a lot later then he usually did. That didnt mean he could skip his morning routine though.
It took a few minutes to unpack his workout equipment from his closet and move it into the main cargo hold, but he managed the familiar task pretty quickly, and soon enough was exercising. His mind wandering over his new word and how exactly he might use it.

From Kai's commlink came the familiar beeping of an incoming message.

At first Kai thought to ignore it, it was likely Lena whining about how hung over she was, and that she wanted eggs or something. But eventually he sighed and walked over, popping it open and answering.
"This is Kai."

A distorted voice responded, "Good morning, Stormtrooper, you look well," the voice paused to snicker, "glad to see that life outside of the Empire hasn't been treating you too poorly these days."

"Ah, I think it's treating me a lot better then life in it would be." Kai replied after a few moments, as he tried to identify the distorted voice.
"Most folks are jumping ship while they can now days. Better then the alternatives I suppose."

"True," came back the reply. There was a long pause, about ten seconds at least, "Listen. I need your help. You got out once because of me, I'm gonna get out of something now because of you. Fair trade?"

Kai sighed, he figured a call like this would come sooner or later. I'm not a miracle worker, but I can see what I can do." The young man offered after a few moments.
"It is a fair trade after all."
"What kind of trouble are you in?"

"Bad job," came the distorted reply. There was a bit longer of a pause. "After the Empire stopped clearing my checks needed to find someone else who would. I'm ready to clear my own tracks, get into a new life, but I've got a tail that's hunting me down by my last employer. Need to pull him off before I make the switch. He'll be on Noventa soon, need you to plant some evidence in the Sector Ranger database for me."

Plant data in a computer... "You are aware I was a stormtrooper, aren't you?" Kai asked after a moment, his tone a little teasing. "I'm better trained in shooting computer's then planting evidence."
He sighed. "I'll see what I can do though, send me the details along with the files."

"I am aware. I am also aware you have new friends, but if you'd rather not get them involved..." there is a bit of a pause."I can make corrections. I'll still need you in there, regardless."

"I'll talk it over with them." They'd likely want to help one way or another.
"We should be able to get it figured out."

"Sort it out," a pause. "I'll contact you again tomorrow. Same time."
The call went silent.

Well there was really no time like the present. "Grabbing a towel he dried off most of his sweat before slipping in a t-shirt and making his way towards the common area.
Maybe some of the girls would be there?

Lena was crunching down on some space-o-s while looking over her datapad. She glanced up when Kai entered. "Hey jarhead." She greeted in a friendly tone.

"Hello, Dear." He beamed a smile at her as he crossed the room to sit across from her at the table.
"How was the party last night? I heard you looked simply ravishing."

"It was okay. Looking ravishing is surprisingly painful." She took a deep breath, relishing the opportunity to do so.
"How things been with you? You seem fairly active lately."

"I suppose that depends on what exactly you're wearing. I'm sure we could make it work in something more comfortable."
He shook his head. "Been bored mostly wandering around the city a bit looking for stuff to do. That factory you mentioned for example. Its locked up pretty tight."
"Other then that, got something of a interesting call this morning."

Lena smirked. "Kai, you never change." She sighed. "Oh? Perhaps we can unlock it as an option..." Her eyebrows shot up suddenly. "Define interesting?"

"I was never very good at not flirting with lovely ladies. Though I suppose I flirt with you and Honey a bit more then most now days." For reasons they had touched on before.
"But yeah, we can do that, make a afternoon of it or something. Almost like a date, ya know."
His tone turned a bit more somber. "An old friend contacted me today looking to call in some favors, kind of interesting."
