Project Runway (D3, ME, Ivory Phoenix)

There was some party going down in Providencetown later that evening, and from what Fey had heard... it would not be something she would be comfortable with. She'd be uncomfortable with those working there, with those running the place, worried she'd be mistaken for a worker, or worse - mistaken for someone interested in working there. The twi'lek shuddered a little, remembering how much she had freaked out just at the Wookie's Codpiece over such a harmless little thing.

Still didn't mean she'd stop others from going out to have fun though! Especially since Jelna and Lena almost *never* did this kind of thing - and this meant that Fey now had free reins in dressing them up for the event.

"You guys need to dress the part when going to such a swanky place, you know," she chuckled, opening up the trunk she kept in her room that was just stuffed with all sorts of pretty outfits. She'd taken a lot of her wardrobe with her when running away, because she didn't really have much else, but it was something that was nice to have in case they needed it for places like this...

"Isn't that place a whorehouse?" Lena's voice was full of her usual amount of joy... that is to say nice.

"I mean, if it is... I guess I'd need to borrow something from you to fit in." Full of love and sunshine.

"They'd probably prefer the term 'pleasure house' or something," Fey shrugged. It was just a prettier name for an ugly truth. Even if these weren't enslaved into that kind of work the same way she had, there were other forms of slavery.

"Ah, but we're not dressing you up to look like one of the workers, dear," she smirked as she held up an ivory dress infront of Lena to check the size. "You need to look classy."

Lena looked at the dress, her eyes wide. "I need to breathe." She countered.

Jelna crossed her arms. "I haven't worn something like that since school." Her parents had wanted her to glam up for special occasions. However, she preferred pant suits. "I can pull off more gruff instead."

"Oh, don't be silly, Lena" the twi'lek giggled. "You'll be fine. It's more comfortable than some of those uniforms the brass wore."

She looked at Jelna with a smile. "I don't think gruff will help you get in...? You could totally pull off an ice-queen look though."

"No fair Skipper." Lena almost pouted. "Just to make sure... how many ribs do you have? Just checking..." She eyed the dress, then her eyes turned towards the make up kit on the table. "That is enough chemicals to make a bomb. Or two. Or a proton torpedo."

"I'll have ya know, I look great in a blazer." Jelna patted one of her pistols. "Easier to carry weapons 'round too."

"It's amazing what you can hide in a dress," she sighed but kept a playful grin on her face. "But that will remain my secret. Really, Babe, you'd look great in pretty much anything."

She patted Lena on the shoulders. "Unlike the gundark here who needs a makeup bomb."

"I don't need one." She huffed. "Though it might not hurt. Who knows who'll be there?" She shrugged, then turned towards the twi'lek. "Eh, it seems the skipper won't go for the ice queen look. Let it go." She started humming as she spoke.

"So, do I need to take some steroid to improve my oxygen intake for that thing? Or how does that even work?"

"I probably could make a bomb out of various beauty products onboard the ship, you know," Fey teased. Which meant she was also serious.

"Well, wearing a dress and wearing a uniform isn't the same, you know." The twi'lek put her hands on Lena's shoulders, easing some of the tension there with a few light squeezes. "Relax, don't take deep breaths like you're suddenly standing at attention."

"Paint bomb or eyelash bob?" She smirked as she responded.

"Don't think I CAN take deep breaths in that." She gestured. "How do you even put it on and not flash someone"?

"Paint bomb," she nodded seriously.

"As for not flashing, well, you take dainty-steps, of course! Like a proper lady. Not like an officer."

"Pink paintbomb, I assume?" She frowned, and tried the steps. Dainty steps. Dainty military steps. "Like this?"

"Ehh..." she gave it a wary glance. "You still look like you're about to salute me, you know. Be relaxed. Think of... hmm... dancing?"

"I'm startin' to think she should just be herself. But I suppose this is fun to watch too." Jelna shrugged. "And can't be too military. Come to think of it, Kai broke out of it rather easily."

"You're right..." the twi'lek said in a thoughtful tone, before looking to Jelna with a big smile. "This is more fun."
