Fight The Power (D8, LM-EA)

[Cefey Raneth]

"And getting used to where the blade is since it's a deadly laser-beam, right?" She wondered how many accidents Jedi and the like had with these things in the old days. Fey shifted the weapon a bit in her hands, trying to find a comfortable grip... and trying to decide if it needed both hands or just one.

[Quinn Largo]

"It's not really a laser. The blade is made of high-energy plasma focused through a force-infused crystal."

She looked at the girl trying to figure out the grip.

"In Makashi we usually use one hand, to help us maintain a range of motion with the rest of our body."

[Cefey Raneth]

"Mm," she nodded, finding a satisfying grip in one hand, "that sounds preferable, yeah."

Looking at the weapon, she imagined for a moment what it would be like as a lightsaber. "So... are you going to stay here on Noventa, to train to become a Jedi?"

[Quinn Largo]

"I'm not sure Noventa is the best place for that. But I'll go where the Force tells me to go, I guess."

[Cefey Raneth]

"It's really not a planet to hang out at, right," Fey agreed with a snort. "I don't think the Force has ever told me where to go, but if you need a ride off-planet, I'm sure we could accomodate."

[Quinn Largo]

"Thanks. I might have to bring friends, though."

[Cefey Raneth]

"Korvalus? Or someone else in mind?" she asked with a kind smile.

[Quinn Largo]

"Yeah, him. Maybe some others if they want to get off this rock."

[Cefey Raneth]

"We don't have a ton of space, so taking everyone along would be hard. Who else did you have in mind?"

[Quinn Largo]

"Cal maybe, and maybe one or two more. I don't think Cal would wanna leave unless things got real bad though."
