"I did my job, Mr. ah... Boss." Yara nods briskly. "That's all. Would you sit for a minute, please? I need to check your vitals before I can discharge you. Everything looked good in the bacta, but best practice calls for one more scan after surfacing." She considers for a moment, glancing from Boss to his subordinate. They'd had to cut most of the man's clothing off him to get him prepped for the tank, and she doesn't know if the younger guy has brought extra for him. "We've got a shower you can use after that, and I can probably find you some sweats, if you need it."

Temra stood by quietly, he;d had very little to do with the Boss's treatment, so he let Yara deal with the man, he was here in only a supporting role for this case.

The Boss slowly stumbled his way out of the Bacta Tank when the space was cleared, quickly aided by his comrade in securing his person. The Boss seemed groggy, weak at first, but the moment he realized who else was in the room instead of just these doctors he soldiered himself up immediately and fought through it.

"Status report," he said, his voice forced to strength.

What ensued next was the man who had come to collect the Boss going into detail of everything, as far as they had deigned to allow Yara to know, that had transpired. Upon completion the boss had some time to recover.

Turning to Yara the man offered a nod, "Thank you, Doctor Suhr. You saved my life and I will not forget that."

"Well, he may not feel like leaping until we get him out of those restraints." She glances back over her shoulder at the man. "Why don't you grab one of those gowns hanging in the corner for him, and then come stand up here by me, so he'll see you straightaway." The tank is beginning to open now... Yara's eyes flick briefly in Temra's direction, and she finds herself glad he's there, just in case. In case of what, she couldn't exactly say, but still.

((Boss can come out to play? ))

"I-I just heard people sometimes come outta these things as if like.. like they were still in the fight an' all. Leapin' into the fight again and all that," he said, his tone worried.

"Anyway.. the Boss will know what we're gonna do," he said.

Temra quietly observes the exchange, fingers nervously gripping the newly created lightsaber hilt in his pocket.

“You’re right, ordinarily I wouldn’t want to know. But these are unusual times.” Yara speaks without taking her eyes off the monitors now. “Noventa may need all the help it can get. At the least… it would be nice to know that when the local militia makes its move, no one else will end up inadvertently stepping on their plans. Or vice versa.” Multiple resistance groups running around the planet, each not knowing what the other one is up to, is potentially a recipe for disaster. Yara may not entirely approve of this crew’s operations—in her opinion, the time for vigilantism is past, at least on worlds under Republic protection—but under the circumstances, she can’t ignore what they’re capable of, either. Or that they’re likely to go into action against the imperial invaders, unless they plan to simply skip town.

“Will he remember... difficult to say. Trauma has complex effects on Human neurochemistry. Certain traumatic moments may be remembered very clearly, almost unusually so. Other parts of the traumatic experience might be blanks.” She nods, mostly to herself, and taps the code that opens the tank along a vertical seam. The machinery makes soft hissing and grinding noises ad it goes into gear. “Why do you ask?”

Within the tank the Boss seemed to be quickly coming to, faster than most, but the condition in which he had been still held the haze over his mind. The Boss wasn't totally there, not just yet.

"Not really sure those are the kinda thoughts you're gonna wanna be havin' Doc, I.. you guys have been good to the Boss here and Cap was real glad things didn't go bad last time we was here but things coulda gone sour fast. Kinda people you'd wanna keep yourself far away from, you know? A-anyway.. he uh, when he comes back you think he'll remember what happened?"

"Optimal bacta treatment protocol calls for continuous immersion," Yara answers the question in a crisp professional tone. "We haven't needed the tank for other emergencies, so he's been undisturbed. It's good you're here, actually--patients who were unconscious going in are sometimes disoriented coming out. I like to have someone familiar in the room if possible."

She punches a button, and a gurgling sound comes from the tank as the thick bluish-clear fluid begins to drain away through a series of filters and into the reserve chamber. The harness still holds the Boss upright, even though gravity exerts a stronger and stronger effect on him as the bacta level drops. He might begin to wake up now, as the machinery injects him with a mild antagonist to counter the last of the sedation.

"I have the impression you're no friends of the Empire," she says over her shoulder to the jumpy guy, while she waits for the fluid level to fall low enough that she can safely crack the tank seals.

"Empire takin' back the planet?" he said with a coughed laugh, "Yea, plans changed. Sure as hell most people's plans been changed by that little display. Don't know what we'd do without the Boss. So.. uh, you know, thanks again for saving him and all. He been.. up at all? Or just in that thing this whole time?"

"I think we're all right, Raine, but stay a minute?" Yara says as she steps out into the hall to lead the way to the bacta treatment room. "You remember our friend from a few days ago, Mr... I'm sorry, I didn't get your name then."

She keys in the passcode to open the room--it doesn't lock from the inside, of course, that'd be a safety violation, but the equipment in here makes up the better part of of the clinic's most valuable assets. Leaving the door open for the others, she crosses to the control panel for one of the tanks, then begins going through the command sequence to drain the bacta from the patient tank to the reserve chamber and release its occupant.

"Yes, your boss will be back with you," she addresses the jumpy man again. "I assume your plans for the near future have changed after last night. I know mine have."

Raine steps into the room without much fanfare... See, this was her job, y'know? And if the patient so happened to be part of a radical rebel cell, well, all the more reason for Raine to be around. "Everything alright in here? Require assistance, doctor?"

"But he'll be back with us, right?" he asked, his voice seeming almost impatient. Glancing between Yara and about the room the mans attention was a little split.

Yara straightens up abruptly, returning to a more professional demeanor. "Oh, it is you. I expected we might see you today," she says, nodding to the man--though she doesn't explain exactly why she'd been expecting a member of this crew on this particular morning. He can make of it what he will, for the moment. "I've been tapering his sedation since early this morning. We can pull him out straightaway if you're ready." She opens a hand toward the lab door, inviting him to step back out into the hall so they can proceed to the bacta treatment room. "He may want a bit more rehab to get back to one hundred percent, but he won't need the tank for that."

Temra glanced to Yara, she was the primary physician here and the release of any patients was at her discretion.

Quietly, as if to show off how simple for them it could have been any time before, the jumpiest of the band from before came into the very room where Yara and Temra were speaking. Turning around abruptly and holding a finger up to his lips, a calming gesture in it's attempt at casualness. Still, of course, his sudden appearance would no doubt be strange.

"Doc, hey, listen, I'm here for the Boss. He good to go? We need to get him out of here like... yesterday, best for everyone, you know?" he quickly went into speaking, as if this was normal.

"The hell with that." Yara's voice grows unusually firm. "Raine and I haven't made a secret of our association with the New Republic. If anything, that be may make us some danger to the rest of you. But if you want to stay, stay, and welcome." She drums her fingers on the edge of the counter. "I don't know what I'm going to do just yet, but I am going to do something. I won't be the only one."

"So am I." Temra replied with more than a little sadness in his voice.

"Am I in danger? Probably, with a side of definitely if they figure out my rudimentary abilities. But am I running again? No." He states definitively. "Though I will understand if you want me to distance myself from this clinic, I'd volunteer the suggestion actually, to avoid bringing collateral damage upon yourself, Raine and Zataa."

"I'm sorry," she says softly. "So... does this mean you're in danger? Should we get you out of the city? I don't think they'll much care about the outlying farms, or have the manpower to bother the farmers--at least not right away." The antecedent of they is unspoken, but fairly obvious.

"I can do very little. It takes a very long time for one to come into such abilities, much training is required unless one is preternaturally strong in such ways. I can struggle to feel presences around me, life forces connected by the Force. If I concentrate very hard I can get the slightest inkling of what they feel sometimes, if it is a strong feeling that resonates within them."

"Shazziq could do much more, but I have not seen him for many years. The last time an Inquisitor was here, or the last time I know of anyway, he sealed me away in a hideout when he went to face her. It took me three days to break out of that place, and when I did, neither of them were anywhere to be found."
