Temra smiles at the news. "That's good. It benefits no one when the people of the land suffer."

Another swallow of his tea and he glances to Raine. "After the visit of our mysterious patient, do you recommend any more upgrades to our security systems?"

Yara's eyebrows twitch up a bit, but she just nods. "Yes, only our mystery patient left in the tanks at the moment. I've heard nothing else from Mr. Bamsh since, so his cat problem must be under control now."

Temra seems hopeful that the probing will stop there. He had considered these two friends, or as close as he was likely to have, but this secret was not his alone.

"We finally sent all those injured farmers back, yes?" He asks, changing the subject quite blatantly.

"Hm. All I can do is wait to pass the background check, then, I suppose." Yara swirls her mug gently to cool its contents a little more, then takes a slow sip.

Temra smiles over the rim of his tin mug as he teases Yara with a very poor imitation of their robotic receptionist.

"Access restricted. Insufficient clearance level."

"Well, how would you characterize it?" Yara asks lightly, but with an inquisitive look. What she knows about Temra is mainly that he's kind, knows Noventa better than she does, and can fix damn near anything--until tonight, she'd had no real idea he was interested in the old Jedi religion.

"I am a hopelessly curious individual Ms Raine." Temra explained without pause as he moved to his seat and took a large sip of his hot drink. "But to say I research such topics is a little over the top."

“I see. So supernatural research is a hobby of yours, Temra?” Raine asks as she tilts her head off to the side, looking at the man with curious eyes.

Temra lets out a barking guffaw. "Hardly an expert Ms Suhr, more of an intrigued observer, but I do try to keep up with such scuttlebutt on this sort of talk. We all have our hobbies after all."

"I can't say I understand any of that. But.. I can't say I disbelieve you, either." Yara frowns pensively into her mug. "Should we presume...um... that you're our local expert on these matters, Temra? Like Raine is on security issues?"

"I think it's less of a someone and more of a something. Mr Bamsh was concerned about some rising darkness in the mountains, apparently some old temple was discovered not too long ago up there." Temra tries to sound casual about it, while at the same time informing the others about it, just in case.

Yara is not 'a person who knows about that,' but that doesn't get in the way of academic curiosity. "How does that work? According to your theory." She arranges her fingers around the warm mug. "Are you suggesting someone is... I don't know, doing this? I don't know much about the old Jedi, but I'd understood that whatever they did was mostly a matter of extrasensory perception and enhanced cognition, learned by way of some sort of religious code..."

Truthfully, the main thing she knows about the Force is that Skywalker believed in it, and everyone who'd been with the Alliance at the same time as the man could see he was a near-supernaturally skillful pilot who had survived several things he really had no right to.

Raine accepts the cup, happy to get some warmth from the drink. “Thanks, Temra. And as far as supernatural stuff, I’ll leave that kinda thing to the people that know about that. I’m just a simple ex-Soldier.”

Temra smiles broadly as he turns around to pour for Raine amd himself. "Of course it is Ms Suhr."

"As for the weather though. It's just a theory of mine extrapolating on known natural and assumed supernatural phenomena. Let's just say I'm a little predisposed to noticing certain unnatural events and occurences."

"Yes, I still haven't got the chill out from earlier." Yara shakes her head ruefully. The humidity is playing extravagant tricks with her wavy hair today; with any light behind her at all, her head looks like it's surrounded by a fuzzy electrical halo. "'Yara' is fine, you know, Temra. Particularly up here," she adds as she pours another cupful of milky tea into her mug.

"I thought the Force is more of a sort of... spiritual-psychological concept. Are you saying Bamsh thinks it has something to do with the weather?"

Temra wandered over to the stove. The time that Raine had been away had allowed the tea to come to a low boil and was ready to serve.

"Are you having another cup Ms Suhr?" He asked as he poured cups for himself and Raine and handed one over to the newly attired lady.

“Hey, if you’re willing to share some, it would be nice. Somethin’ hot sounds really good right now, doc.” The younger woman pushed herself away from the counter space with a chuckle. “Well, I’ll be back before you know it.”

With that, Raine quickly made way to her quarters to grab some dry pants and a shirt. One could tell she was in a hurry based on the frequency of the loud ‘clomps’ her boots made as they touched the ground. Though, her return would be much quieter, as she decides to ditch those boots in favor of dry warm socks. It was weird seeing Raine this casual, her sweatpants and t-shirt were usually something she wore to sleep.

Raine wrote:Raine makes certain not to lean any of the wet part of her body against the counter as she rests against it. “Windows seem fine. I did clear some debris away so nothing gets broken.”

She crosses her arms across her chest, combating the chill of the rain that had seeped through her clothes. “I should probably change into something dry.”

Temra nods his agreement. "It would hardly do for us to become our own patients." He responds with a barking laugh.

Yara Suhr wrote:"Spiritual level?" Yara's brows draw together and her forehead creases as she turns back from the cabinet with a box of tea in her hand. "I'm afraid you've lost me." She winces as another crack of thunder breaks overhead

"That farmer that we helped, Bamsh? He said there's some force sensitive areas around here and that something wrong has been building up lately."

"Probably, yes," Yara says, lips quirking. "I'm nearly half done with this milk tea, if you want some once you're dry."
