Kor nodded "nope not too many at all." He'd need to have a talk with Runi.

"Can't be too many people like that on Noventa," she said.

The Witch shook her head. "No. Neither of them were a twi'lek. Both near human, as far as I could tell." She pursed her lips again, deep in thought.

Kor nodded "yup." He was a little worried inside but did a good job keeping a straight face. The news was troubling he knew a few blue males but only a couple red females. He looked at the witch "could you tell if either of them were twileks?" He asked trying to narrow the possibilities a bit.

"Yes. It is." She nodded, and pursed her lips. She watched the interplay between the two, finding herself amused with the unlikely pair of friends.

"Carmine... that's... that's red right?" She cast a glance toward Kor.

Blue and red. Could be coincidence. But she knew two people like that who also seemed to be force sensitive.

The Witch thought for a moment. "They were a pair. An azure hued male, and a carmine hued female. I only caught them as they were leaving the ruins, and I was only able to observe them through my macrobinoculars." She paused again. "I'm afraid that is all I was able to get."

"Do you have any idea who may have took it? If they're still alive, and didn't know what they were doing... maybe they could help make things right? At least they could tell us what's happened."

The Witch paused. "He has been asleep for quite some time. He will likely need time to adjust to being alive, again. Not ideal, but it is time bought for us." She pursed her lips.

"I do not think whoever took the book knew what they were doing. The language it is written in is ancient, likely unknown. This may all be a terrible accident."

She nodded. "And what about this seneschal? Will he just sit still in the meantime? Or the people that took the book? They're the ones that brought him back, right? Isn't there someone we can warn?"

"We don't find the Ashla. The Ashla is what brings the universe together. The place I speak of, is a natural temple to it. From what I understood, anyway. The Jedi, she said it reminded her of a planet she went to before becoming a padaean learner, as all Jedi did." The Witch set the cup down, feeling at peace again.

"It was said that there was a cave that tested the spirit of one, somewhere near here. I wonder if they were one in the same." Musing again.

"I must consult the signs and portents. Meet me here in three days time. I should have the location sourced by then."

Kor likewise listened closely to the witch. Though he struggled a bit to understand all the concepts, the big man never claimed to be the sharpest vibroknife in the drawer. But he got enough of a handle on the information to understand that this was some serious druk. "Well it sounds like we need to find this Ashla soon if this seneschal is as big a deal as you say."

Quinn listened intently. She had probably never heard of the witches from Dathomir; but she was being given enough of a primer to fill in the blanks, even if she didn't neccesarily follow all of it.

Then came the talk of crystals, and she nodded.

"Good. I'm not... that useful with the other stuff you've talked about. My time with my teacher wasn't long to go into those sorts of things. But if I have a lightsaber, then I can be useful."

She nodded, taking a deep breath. "It... is a long story. But, you're right, I will have to tell you. The both of you..." She began to pour the tea, and tell the tale of her Coven, an offshoot of Witches from Dathomir that arrived a few thousand years ago. The way they protected the planet, through arcane rituals and alchemy, without relying on the power of the Dark Side. The talk would go on for hours, and several cups of tea.

Kor and Quinn each gain a rank of Knowledge (Lore).

"... As for weapons... you said you were looking for the crystals that the Jedi were known for?" Her eyes narrowed, looking to Quinn. "I only heard a rumor, once, from the Jedi General that led the Republic forces here during the Clone Wars. Maybe that is a place to start. She said there was a place, powerful in the natural state of the Force, of the Light, the Ashla, here on this mountain. A cave system. I... I can help you find it, together." She steeled her resolve, looking quite determined.

"We will need time to prepare."

Inwardly, Quinn sighed. If someone was going to keep their cool about all of this, why did it have to be the largely clueless kid. Or maybe being clueless was what allowed her to be cool in the face of this unknown danger to begin with. She didn't know.

"I'm sorry that happened to you. But if this... Seneschal... is as bad as you're saying, you got to focus on that, not the past. Tell us everything you know. Where he came from. What he did. How he got stuck here. What was in that book exactly. Who took it. How it's possible he can be back. What kind of strengths and powers does he have. Weaknesses. Where can we get the weapons we need to fight him. You know, everything."

She smiled her confident cocky smile, hoping it would rub off a little.

The Witch breathed in heavily, worry and fear cascading across her face. "The Seneschal. An ancient Sith Lord." Shaking her head, her shoulders dropped as tears formed at rhe cornern of her eyes.

"I failed. My Coven died and I failed. We were tasked..." an ugly, choking sob cut off her words.

Kor was keeping track of the conversation even if he only understood about half of what was being said. Then the earthquake hit and Kor was on his feet "what the hell is happening? Who is awake?"

Quinn, presumably, felt it too. Through the force and not just through the earthquake.

"What..."

This was so much worse than what she'd come here for. All she wanted was a lightsaber so she could fight off what she assumed would just be another bounty hunter coming for her. Now she had some ancient horror to deal with too. Something she wasn't even fully sure was real yet... except it felt real...

She braced herself, trying to catch a few things off the shelves to keep them from breaking.

"I... possibly." The Witch looked to Quinn, and her burly companion. She picked up her tea, taking it to her lips. And then...

Darkness. Pure unadulterated fear as an Earthquake struck the home, a deep rumbling breaking things off of shelves.

The Witch's eyes went wide, as she breathed in heavily.

"Oh... oh no... He is awake..."

"I'm not... familiar with that name. But it sounds like this is all pretty bad. I've got my own problems to deal with, but... maybe we can help each other?"
