To be honest, he was surprised there were so many people there in general. He knew about Cefey, and learned about Quinn EM9, but he was trained to think the Force was a rare thing.

Although less than a dozen out of a planet housing presumably millions, maybe he shouldn't have been so shocked.

Jelna thpugh? He had no clue about her leanings, although with her and Cefey from the same ship it is a large coincidence.

Temra was terrific to read. Also a cool dude. He got along well with Demona! Not many folk do.

What's next for Temra? An obvious question, but hey, I wanna know!

For a larger, weirder question, what various bits make up Temra? I can see lots of them; mechanic, mystic, healer, protector, possibly mentor... and all so polite! Basically, he's just such a complex character, I'd love an author's portrait of him, if that makes sense.

What's next? Depends how negotiation of EGG goes, but I'd like for him to hang around Noventa, do the protecty thing. Whether that's just helping out at the clinic or helping to swing the vergence back to light, I'm not sure yet.

As for his...eclectic nature?

He started as a mechanic first and foremost, was only going to be tech assist at the hospital, then I was told we got a rank of a suitable skill as part of the business. So he became Yara's assistant, which I decided pushed him out from paranoid loner towards a more compassionate side.

The mystic wasn't going to happen. I intentionally avoided the Force powers at build to represent his very brief and incomplete training. Then he ran into Bamsh and forged something there, finding a mentor in him, and then again later in Daen, I decided I couldn't fight fate any more and succumbed to it.

His constant politeness was supposed to be a little off putting to reflect the low Presence score, but I'm not sure I captured it right.

And here I thought he was a bit of a dorky but nice gentleman with his good manners.

Were you hoping for a lightsaber during the game, or is that something Temra will pursue in the future perhaps?

Do you see him becoming stronger in the Force and learning more of his own power going forward? Or just taking it slow?

Dorky works too. Lack of cool seems low-presencey enough to fit.

Temra did end up building a hilt, but will probably offer it to Mirri as a memento of Noventa. But either way, it was just a hilt, never got deep enough into the Force plot to find crystal for it.

Still working on XP spend, thinking of sinking some points into upgrading sense, but needs higher FR to really get enough pips to spend on a good range.

I am rather sad we never got to go into the factory. Probably should of pushed it more, but really seemed not quite worth the risk after all the guard droids were posted. Still it was fun chatting with Temra, and thanks for the armor.

What kind of armor was Temra after anyways?

Was looking through the lists and I think he's looking for 2 soak, 4 hard points to attach cortosis and superior for extra soak. Then hopefully proc extra soak with advantages too.

The style of it, he's not overly concerned with. Function over appearance for him.

Would like to get to point of soaking lightsaber damage...

Well you only need cortosis for that... but there is some armor in special modifications you might like.

Merr-Sonn N57 Armor. that is if you can make sppecific armors...

If not, I'd say aim for making Combat armor.

Yeah, there's no rules for making specific armors. Otherwise there are a few choice pieces I'd like

Hm, how did Temra come to be? Any inspirations?

Aside from the well commented upon avatar theft, not really. He was pretty much a stripped down version of a backup concept from Bankor that I never needed.

I didn't manage as much of a presence as I would have liked, so he's still got some building to do personality wise.

I had a lot of fun interacting with Temra and figuring out our co-worker/team/kinda-found-family dynamics, despite my relatively low posting rate! His reserve surprised me at first, but it turned out to be a great detail. He ended up being the most classically Jedi-like of the various Force users, from my vantage point at least.
