I kind of just conceptualized it as an actor/actress who has a decent range of personalities that they can portray. The base Soren that stuck with all of them is largely someone who was 1) a 'survivor' in a number of different ways (survivalist, orphan, manipulator, etc... essentially surviving any way they can in a number of different situations. Adaptable might be a good descriptor), 2) afraid of opening themselves up (due to being taken as a child from his parents and trained as an Imperial operative before being set free by a Rebel operative.. who then Soren believes she got killed on accident), 3) is searching for something fulfilling in life but ultimately unable to find it.
Making them distinct were in subtle verbal cues and facial expressions and the like. Since it was Soren 'acting' out these roles, some of them would speak and talk in a more stereotypical fashion for someone who is 'that thing'. Aily was bubbly and excited. Banks was flippant and free-wheeling. Leosha was deep and introspective. Rattataki was quiet and ominous. Pantoran acted like he was above everyone and everthing. Six was a stereotypical 'skank'.
Soren was most brave and adventurous when taking on the persona of TK... which was in fact the Republic operative who had saved her as a child (Terrah Krin=TK). So as a pod-racer, mountain climber, factory subverter... whenever Soren needed to get past the more cowardly side of herself... He'd take on the role of TK.
Overall it was enjoyable. I ended up having to interact with myself quite a bit because my schedule tends to differ from a lot of other players, but ultimately it was enjoyable in a lot of ways even if it was a lot of self-love. Really liked the mountain scene and the opportunities I had to try and find a purpose for Soren at the end of the game.
