Can you share a bit about what was going on behind the scenes with Jelna? Because I know there was a lot going on back there!

Thanks for letting me be a part of the group, as the token xeno. Jelna was really great to read, with a lot of depth to her. I really enjoyed the dynamic between her and the rest of the group.

Did you at any points regret the mechanical aspects of Jelna? Investigator seemed to be a pretty fun spec.
Is it likely for Jelna to make herself a lightsaber in the future?

What's next for Jelna? Seems like she went through a lot of changes this game.

I am unsure of how Jelna came to be. I believe I saw the Investigator tree and fell in love, so to speak. From there, her first inspiration was Hans Landa from Inglorious Basterds. But since she was going to Space Argentina, she was going to have transitioned over to Dr. Schultz from Django Unchained. It would seem I'm a fan of the actor.

But I started to feel uncomfortable with playing such an overtly evil character. I found inspiration on how to tame that from Arkham Horror, as the picture suggests. Zerra is basically her Sophie, plus some other goodies. It might be hard to translate her perfectly to the game! This combined well with my favorite episode of Black Mirror and the neural recorder. Technology is dangerous!

I did, of course, consider dropping the act. However, the situation never really called for it. She has been, after all, only been there for a week and a half. And she still has no intention of paying for her crimes. Ironically, despite being an enforcer, she considers herself above the law.

Jelna is now a bit shell-shocked when it comes to dark side folk trying to wreck everything. It's now her priority to take down these threats whether or not she actually understands them.

The group dynamic was great. Thanks for being open to having ghost girlfriend be the fifth member of the crew! It added a neat dynamic not often in these sorts of games.

For her stats, I guess I feel like she wasn't as skilled in some areas as I would have wanted. Combat is always useful and she's kind of meh at it while her social skills aren't too impressive. In terms of investigating, she seems to have the role nailed. Maybe this influx of XP would help for a sequel.

As for lightsaber, I suppose I'd consider it more if I had gotten one. It's a bit of a meta reason though, with her Cunning being so much higher than agility. I think, given free build, I might imagine her as being a better pistoleer. So the final answer is maybe and hinges on what aspect of her I want to expand upon. She could be more mystical in her investigation. She could be a bit space Batman with Sentry. She could be more Jedi with Shien Expert.

I think I had some motivation problems for the game. But also, my life has been going through many changes lately. I have had to give up more game time for it.
