Noventa - A Star Wars Story

Syzygy found a sponsor today. They wanted more of the take than she liked, but all she really wanted was to race. The deal was made and she was now looking over the podracer.

"So, you're looking to be a driver, eh, girly?" A rather large Duwotin male, far larger than anyone has any right to be, crossed his arms across his broad chest. A large cigarra hanging from his tusked maw, he dwarfed the woman as he looked to her.

"Tell me, why should ol' Vanskri let you pilot one of my eacers?" His voice boomed with a chuckle after the words, the cigarra flaring at the end.

"Do you have another willing to race in this rain?" she asked. "Better to take a chance with me than to let it just sit here while other are making credits."

The cigarra moved from one side to the other of his massive maw. And then, another deep, boisterous laugh.

"No, I s'pose not! Just remember, you break her, you bought her." Continuing his gutteral laugh. "I like your moxy. What's the name of the pink one I see before me!"

"Syzygy, Syzygy Anion." she smiled. "I won't get a scratch on her. You have my word, Vanskri."
