Session 2 OOC - Wipe Fade from the flash of Lightning...
... To the flash of light of Hyperspace. A Gladiator-II Class Star Destroyer moving quickly. The camera moves, panning over the elongated hull, entering through the observation deck of the bridge. A wound of a mouse droid zipping by brings the attention of the camera, as it begins to follow. Stormtrooper boots pass by on screen, as well as the soft leather boots of officers. The hallway, gleaming and black, dimly lit, operating under maximum efficiency standards. The mouse droid zips around the corner, and the camera leaves, focusing on a sealed door.
A hiss, and the door opens. a cloak and cowled individual kneeling. We approach from behind, and our eyes are drawn to two items, one on either side. A ring shaped hilt on the lift, and on the other, a a handle more talon shaped. Gloved, slender fingers wrap around each one, bringing them beneath the cloak, as the camera moves around them, catching a glimpse of crimson, bony protrusions from their chin, a hint of gold lipstick and piercings, before a mask is drawn over their face.
Over their shoulder, Admiral Verlasso stands, her arms folded across her chest, looking at the Inquisitor.
"We should be arriving at Noventa soon. Are you sure about this target?" She asked, the door sealing shut behind her. At her hip, a standard issue Imperial Blaster Pistol holstered. Shadows beneath her eyes, showing a lack of sleep. Was it excitement, or nervousness? The Inquisitor stood, fully masked, looking to the Admiral. "Yes. I am. Something is there that is important, for all of us. The Dark Side is calling to me, Admiral, showing me things which will lead to us standing tall, against this nascent, false government. This place... will be the beginning of a true, new Empire. Not one in hiding." The Inquisitors voice was distorted by the mask, while still feminine, it was garbled.
Verlasso's lips tightened, as she relaxed her posture. "While that may be good enough for you, I am far more interested in what the scout teams have already sent back." Stepped closer, she pulled a datapad from behind her. "Resources seem rich. Captain Bajora, and her Scout Troopers, have already begun their infiltration. They've noted a few, interesting things as well. No one has cleaned the Debris Field from the Clone Wars."
There was a sense of something from the Inquisitor, as the cloak billowed behind her. Verlasso continued. "An infrastructure which would be very valuable. Though a decidedly more, pro-Rebellion government. But being so far out, they likely wouldn't be able to get a response quickly. I will need you to do your part though, Inquisitor. Remind people of what it meant to stand against the Empire, against the bulwark that sought to only bathe the galaxy in peace. To end the conflicts which raged for eons." The two women stood toe to toe, eye to mask.
"You will have no concerns from me, Admiral. I will be able to mask our presence from the rebels once we are on planet. But I am only one being. It will take the might of the Imperial Navy and Army left on board to exercise your will, the will of our late Emperor. All is as we will upon the Force. Trust that power, and you shall succeed." The Inquisitor smiled, though only she knew it.
Verlasso finally smiled herself, standing tall at attention. "Excellent. Thank you. For your counsel. You have been quite the boon since Jakku. Together... things will be made right..."
