[Day 2 LM] Scoping Out

Kaneesa peers over the datapad that he is carrying around. Mostly, he is doing his best to appear inconspicuous. He is here for legitimate reasons after all, checking on incoming shipments for the Codpiece, or perhaps was looking for a bit of extra people to act as bouncers.

"Let's see what we have here..." Kaneesa is trying to keep an eye out for any bad habits...habits that could be exploited.

Clementine is not by nature inconspicuous, but he is frequently around the port at this time of day, and anyone who knows his connection to Kaneesa wouldn't be surprised to see them in company. While not the most perspicacious sapient (he does not, in fact, know that word or what it means) he has developed a fairly good sense of both how this port in particular works, and a feeling for number of parts of the ebb and flow of life in the galaxy that are useful when planning a heist.

And, of course, if anyone gets interested in about why they're there, he can give a couple of good reasons for them not to poke their nose too closely.

The port remains as busy as always, people keep moving around, shipments come and go, and whatever else in between. Thankfully, as so far you are not doing anything too shady, no one really pays any mind to a droid and its pet Gungan around the area.

((How will you two go about this?))

Clementine was familiar with the ins and outs of the port, and especially the intoxicant deliveries, since he interacted with those both in his capacity as a dock worker and as a deliverydroid for the bar. He lead Kaneesa to the relevant parts of the spaceport -- where the ship most commonly landed, unloaded, the warehouse where it was usually stored, etc. -- as he tried his best to remember details about timing.

[Skullduggery is for "identifying the most vulnerable aspects of a security scheme", so I'm assuming that's what we're doing? Clementine has only 1 Cunning but does have 1 rank, which I believe makes him useful for at least one boost, and can I argue that Kaneesa gets another for Clementine's familiarity with the port?]

Kaneesa shakes his head. "Nothing too obvious. They are buttoned up well enough there." Kaneesa's eyes travel along the stretch of the street. "But that leaves the weakest part of any security system. The Organics."

Kaneesa gestures to Clem tries to follow the line of the workers leaving for the overnight shift, trying to eye the local bars. If he can just find someone vulnerable to work on...

Kaneesa spend the rest of the morning keeping an ear out, trying to figure out where and when he can find someone going off shift. After all...dock workers not drinking? When has that ever happened?

Surprisingly enough, you somehow manage to hear some of the floor workers talking about grabbing a drink at the end of their shift. In fact, it's somewhat implied it's a nightly thing after the end of their shift at the Twelve Parsecs, a local bar here in Noventa City that some people enjoy for whatever reason. It's not your place, nor is in it Providencetown, so who cares.

There is no real mention of time, just intent to go get drunk like they always do every night.

"Oh hey I know that place." Clementine shifted from foot to foot, coming across as... nervous? "Maybe ah we can wait until they are coming out and then I can grab one, boss. What do you think?"
