(open even if Fey got stuff to do
)
Enjoying the chance for a morning caf and breakfast at a cafe for once, Fey was dressed with a simple look. Jeans and her belt, a black tank-top with a button-shirt over that she had just tied together in the front instead of closing the buttons. It was Kai's shirt so it would've looked too oversized otherwise.
The twi'lek did have habit of 'borrowing' clothes from the others.
Having slept uneasily in the night, her mind was still all abuzz with yesterday's events. There was probably no connection, but her curiosity wanted to know more about this woman that was obviously bad news. Starting up her datapad, the youngest member of the Ivory Phoenix started to search around on what she could find about this Catherine Macguire.

Before Noventa City became the bustling trade port of the planet that it was today, largely thanks to the interests of certain corporate entities for sure, it might have been impossible for Cefey to get the connection to the Holonet she required. However, with commerce and business came the rest of the Galaxy and Noventa's Holonet hub allowed the woman to connect and peruse for the information she desired. It was only that now she had to determine the approach of her desire.
[Please be certain of your search intent and parameters. I will adjust what you might need to roll accordingly. At current I will note that searching for her name will be a DAUNTING Check, and to this I will be spending a DESTINY to UPGRADE the check. This check will have to be a Knowledge Check determined by Cefey's search parameters. For example, does she sift more through Underworld Sources or Military Sources? That will be for her to determine.]

OOC: Starting with the official stuff - see if she's appeared in any news (local or otherwise), get a picture of who she is before deciding where to go from there.

[Do you have a description of her? If so, with the name the check will be the Daunting one as outlined above. This research will take multiple hours due to the required sifting through vast amounts of information. Can only make the check once and it will consume the timeslot.]

For hours Cefey searched through article after article, picture after picture, each one detailing something about some life of a woman that had a matching name. At least once, in the middle of the search, the connection to the Holonet was lost as was only to be expected on a frontier world and she was forced to find some other way to take a break and relax for a little while. Once she got back to it though it was only a vast sea of words and pictures. Articles and articles. However, through all of her searching she never found a single bit of evidence of the woman whom they said they met with. For every Catherine Maguire she found not a single one of them matched the woman's description.
For a moment, perhaps, Cefey might have wondered if she'd missed something or for some reason it was hidden somewhere she couldn't be certain of but that was not the case. Cefey was certain she searched everything that was relevant. Sifted through every bit of information she could have found. Cefey was certain there was only one conclusion: The woman's name was not Catherine Maguire.
[I will accept the Computers check for this time, but it really should have been a Knowledge check.]

Fey finished off her fourth - or was it fifth - cup of caf as she closed down the searches. This stank of some cloak and dagger turd that had neon-signs warning 'trouble ahead'. Sure, they had worked with clients before who had operated under a pseudonym, but they had at least been forthcoming about the job-details. People with something to hide usually pretended to helpful, Fey seemed to recall Jelna had said some time. Judging from the report from Lena and Kai, this to her seemed like some spy stuff.
Which it was probably better not to touch unless given a reason to think differently.
The twi'lek stretched as she got up from her seat. It was time to look into other jobs, or maybe investigate more about those drop-pods... but it wasn't the time for that now. She had to pick up some stuff for Lena before heading back to the Phoenix. Putting her datapad away, Fey departed to tend to other things that needed doing.
