Noventa - A Star Wars Story

[b]A New Arrival:[/b]
Passing over Providencetown on it's way down from the stars the ship Galatea descends into the open plains of Noventa. Landing in an area separated from the jurisdiction of any surrounding city or force occupying the planet. A self contained unit the only interaction with the outside world upon it's arrival is to set up a signal that broadcast on repeat asking for any and all mercenaries, bounty hunters, to please inquire within.

Those who are sensitive to the Force feel something. Distant, hidden... and cold. But dormant...

[b]Weather:[/b]

Northern Hemisphere (Noventa City, Providence Town, The forest and plains). Clear skies, with a slight north-eastern breeze. The feeling of the shifting seasons is in the air.

Southern Hemisphere (Charnel Gulch): Windstorms sweep through the southern hemisphere, ushering in cold rains. All piloting checks here suffer one setback die due to the hazardous conditions. Mount Hamankarn continues to smoke, with slight rumblings beneath the surface. Local geologists attribute this to standard activity.

Near-Orbit: The star of the Noventa system flares out with a heavy solar wind, causing a disruption in sensor arrays across the planet and in orbit. When in space, computers checks to scan things suffer a setback die.
