Once more, with conviction [D6, MA-LA]

Post by Quinn Largo » Thu Oct 25, 2018 1:03 pm

More work. More determination. This was the first lightsaber she would ever build, and it needed all the care in the world. She had to get it right.

It had taken her almost the entire day. Near failure. And in the end...

...success.

Quinn could hardly believe it, taking a deep breath before holding up the hilt in front of her...

This is for you, master.

... and turned it on.

The hum told her it was working, and when she opened her eyes she saw the brilliant blue-white glow of a lightsaber´s blade. Almost fearful that someone would walk in, despite her having locked the door, she flipped it off again. Next came the simple work of adjusting the hilt to better suit her fighting style. She wanted to do some more work on it, improve upon it further. But there was no time. They were about to rob a warehouse, and she needed to do her part. She secured it at her belt... and then decided to put it somewhere less visible instead.
