Post by Runi Vizsla » Sun Oct 07, 2018 10:43 pm

Runi Vizsla
Gender - Female
Age - 25
Height – 5'8"
Weight – 150 lbs
Build - Athletic
Hair - Black
Eyes - Cyan
Notable Features – Scarlet skin, black quarter sleeve tattoo with the Mandlorian war banner and the Clan Vizsla symbol as featured parts

Runi is the gregarious bartender at the Twelve Parsecs, a fixture of the bar since she arrived on Noventa a few months ago. She wears her black hair long and the bright smile she gives everyone who comes in reveals slightly sharp teeth, and her cyan eyes are vivid and bright. She moves with energy and always serves drinks with a little flourish. She chats in a friendly way but always a little impersonal, hearing others troubles with a sympathetic ear but never sharing any of her own.

She is quite handy with a vibroax, and serves as a backup bouncer if the other one is out.

Hooks
* Force Sensitive? You might have sensed something around Runi.
* Always happy to serve a drink and a smile at the 12 Parsecs.
* Interested in digging into a mysterious past? It might take some effort, but she might eventually share.
* Humans might think she's a Zeltron, but others of that species know better, as well as the more observant.

Sailee

Gender - Female
Age - 35
Height - 5'11"
Build - Powerful
Fur - Tan
Eyes - Hazel

Image

Sailee was a bounty hunter, from shortly before the end of the clone wars until shortly after the Battle of Jakku, usually in the employ of the Empire. Now, she's a pilot and security for some shoestring news rag. But whatever; it pays the bills.

She's a powerfully built and toned Cathar, who often carries an astonishingly large gun, often seen sharpening her claws. And by all accounts, she is averse to sleeves.

A born spacer raised by outcasts, she has few connections to her people's heritage. Or manners. Her priorities tend to be simple. Food, violence, cash, comfort. She doesn't get terribly hung up over ideals and agendas, and tends to get annoyed when people try to inspire her to a cause.

HOOKS
- Bruh, you even lift?
- Loves a tussle.
- Guns are cool.
- You an outlaw? Got on the wrong side of the law in the last twenty years? We might have "met."
- You a bounty hunter? Sailee's been freelance the last few years. Maybe you roped her in on a job that went badly.
- Has a Hell of a sweet tooth, but it's so hard to find places that cater to carnivores' tastes. Some days, she'd kill for a honey blood latte, or a nice scoop of pisteakchio ice cream.
- Easily manipulated by beautiful women.

Post by Hin'biki » Tue Oct 02, 2018 7:57 pm

Gender - Male
Species - Twi'lek
Age - 19
Height – 175 cm
Weight – 74 kg
Build - Slight
Skin - Blue
Eyes - Blue

There is no good reason someone should know Hin'biki, and yet most people have probably met him at least once. A clandestine meeting at the Wookie's Codpiece, an afternoon booze up with your fellow scum, or just an ill conceived night of slumming it in Lower Providencetown. He was that twi'lek who gave you your drink. He's the one cleaning the next table over. He's the one mopping up the blood from a row. He's the one going into the back room with some patron or another. He might even be the one idly contorting himself on one of the stage boxes for a few spare credits. He's that twi'lek everyone expects to be in every bar, and for that exact reason nobody cares who he is or why he's there.

No one asks about his past. No one would think to ask. They just let him do his work, and maybe, just maybe, on a slow afternoon, or just after last call, someone will look up from their drink. In that moment they might see the young twi'lek cleaning the bar with a bland expression, and in those moments they may give thought to asking him his story. It's always short, and it's always the same. He just got here from [random planet on the Rim] and is just here long enough to make the money for his next transport. It doesn't matter that he's been here for almost a year. The patrons never noticed.

Hooks
* A fellow Twi'lek might be more likely to notice another Twi'lek at the bar.
* Maybe you happened to hire the young server for the evening. What it was for doesn't matter.
* You saw some of the tell-tale welts he keeps mostly hidden on his back one day. Souvenirs from his time as a slave.
* You could just be a bleeding heart looking for a poor, downtrodden charity case to pour your attention into healing from the wounds of the past.

Gender - Female
Species - Human
Age - 24
Height – 176 cm
Weight – 54 kg
Build - Lithe
Hair - Red
Eyes - Green

Lena is the pilot and chief mechanic of the Ivory Phoenix. Those who know something of Corellia might recognize her last name as belonging to one of the larger merchant families from the planet who deal in starships. In manner and dress, she is crisp and sharp, though there's a frosty air surrounding her most times. She is well educated and displays knowledge in a smattering of topics, all seem to be either military ot starfaring related though.

Hooks
* Are you from Corellia? So is she!
* Been to Coruscant about 6-10 years ago? Lena was studying there!
* Interested in military history or tactics? So is she!
* Starships are both an occupational and familial interest to her, so she's always interested!

Post by Tewzada Star'Ti » Tue Oct 02, 2018 1:58 am

Tewzada Star'Ti

Gender - female
Age - 23
Height - 1.65m / 5'5"
Build - curvy, toned, jiggly
Skin - yellow-orange
Eyes - green

Image

Tewzada doesn't remember her parents; She doesn't remember anything before the orphanage, frankly. She was told her parents were slaves for a billionaire named Romskog Ender, head of a major pharmaceutical company on her home planet of Danon. But they weren't in her life, so so what?

Tewzada chose her own name; After all, she was her own person, and no one could tell her who to be. After all, everyone else only looked out for themselves, so why shouldn't she? This viewpoint took over her thinking as she grew up; She became obsessed with showing the duplicity in everyone else, how those in power abused it and how those without power did dreadful things to get it. Still, she knew how to play by society's rules. Outwardly, Tewzada fit in as a charming girl, all be it a slightly contrarian one with headstrong tendencies. That just made her seem powerful and tough to some of the other kids, and she certainly had a way of swaying them to see things the way she did.

As Tew got old enough to leave the orphanage, she dreamed of becoming a reporter; After all, what better way to show what she'd always known about society than over the holonet to billions of people? Still, she found the job market in journalism for poorly educated Twi'lek teenagers to be a little... scant. Not being able to read or write and having no vehicle were all big barriers. Tewzada was determined though, and she did odd jobs (mostly dancing and prostitution) to afford night school.

It was enough; After two years, at the age of twenty-one, she got a job at Galaxy Nuze Network, a rather infamous holonet news network known for hiring it's reporters based more on their looks than anything else. Despite the half-naked anchors, they were well known for their entertainment news and gossip department, so Tew saw it as an opportunity. It wasn't long until she was moving up in the network; From intern to office to wardrobe to administrative assistant, mostly on charm. And the network executives were keen to get her in front of a camera.

Tew's charm came in one more time when she talked them into letting her do coverage rather than anchoring. It was the sort of thing she'd been waiting for. So for the past year, she's been traveling off planet, covering everything from battles to galas, natural disasters to bank heists. Sure, she doesn't usually get to choose her assignments, and GNN mostly has her doing the sorts of things the network is known for. But ratings are up, and and Tewzada is semi-famous in certain circles. This is getting her name out there, getting experience... And if she should happen to drag some hypocrites names through the mud in the process? So much the better.

Now she's found herself on assignment to Noventa. A backwater world, she's not sure how much here could really be of interest to those in the galaxy at large. But she has a local contact through the company, a printing business called "The Association for an Improved Tomorrow" that gathers information and prints pamphlets and magazines. It's not much, but perhaps this could lead ~somewhere~ interesting, hm?

HOOKS
- follow entertainment news and gossip? Tewzada has walked the red carpet and talked with the stars in her coverage, so you just might recognize her.
- a fan of smut and tat? GNN's lingerie calenders and "nighttime nuze" broadcasts have featured Tew, so you could recognize her from there too.
- does your character participate in any chats about people's rights, anti-corruption, and small government? You may have run into Tew on a computer then.
- Grow up on the city-planet Denon? Who knows, mighta run into Tew then!
- Need something printed, 3d printed, or screen printing? GNN's parent company own AFAIT Press on Noventa, a newspaper and printing company. So you might run into her at the offices.

Image
AC1201 - camera droid
Tewzada's camera droid is often nearby, floating somewhere behind it's mistress. As a fifth-degree droid, it really doesn't have much intelligence or personality, but it's quite like a loyal puppy. 1201 tends to get kind of lonely without Tew around, and has a quirk of filming things without being told to. Tew doesn't mind though, since it's utterly reliable otherwise.

That and it's hidden blaster has come in handy more than once.

Post by Kai Wryssald » Mon Oct 01, 2018 8:41 pm

Kai "Darling" Wryssald

Gender - Male
Age - 24
Height – 188 cm
Build - Muscled
Hair - Brown
Eyes - Hazel

Kai is something of an imposing figure, rather tall and well muscled, at first glance he doesn't seem to be the type you would want to meet down a dark alley. On closer inspection it's easy to note his handsome features though, and expressive eyes, as well as the fact he is quicker with a smile then with his fists. A couple years on the Phoenix have taken off his rougher edges, or at least put a bit of polish on them, and he takes quite good care of himself. Perhaps because he likes to or perhaps to try and fit in with the crew of lovely women he works with.

A trained eye will note a bit of military in the way he walks, and carries himself, it's not something he tries to make a big deal out of though, and he tries to hide it as best he can. Clothing wise he prefer's simple serviceable garments, that fit him well, often showing off his physique to a degree, apparently not shy about showing off a bit, much like his twi'lek crew mate. He is generally armed though, at least where it's allowed, ready for violence if it finds them, but not necessarily looking.

HOOKS

- Kai is a former Storm Trooper, he most recently worked in the Corellian Sector. Maybe you met somehow?

- We hunt bounties! Don't be bad mmkay?

- Do you even lift, brah?

- Kai is from Dantooine, maybe we knows you from long ago?

Post by Aja Fenn » Mon Oct 01, 2018 7:36 pm

Aja Fenn

Gender - Female
Race - Aleena
Age - 14 (About 22 human years)
Build - Schmall
Hair - Bald and beautiful
Eyes - Blue

A small young Aleena out in the galaxy all on her own, Aja has traveled for years, making do with odd jobs. She has gained a bit of a reputation as an explosives expert, and though some of her work has been on the shadier side of things, she's also helped in more legal demolitions as well. Aja is popular not only for her expertise with such things, but also because she always works cheap, being more than willing to be paid in sporting tat, especially tickets.

The Aleena girl is small, even for one of her species, and with a thin build, she takes up very little space. Her eyes and bright with wonder and what some see as innocence, though others know she's done far to much to really be so. Her voice has a slight lizardy gravelness to it, but it is also higher pitched, almost cute.

CARMINE SERTHIS

Gender - Female
Age - late 20's
Height – 5’8
Build - Thin
Hair - Blonde, cropped
Eyes - Blue, rimmed with red liner
Ship - Strange Charm

; Born on Coruscant, into an Imperial family. She grew up believing the Imperial did nothing wrong, and that was her place to join when she grew of age. She had propaganda posters in her room and everything. Her parents were cold and distant people, but passionate about the Empire. Her mother was an administrator placed in a position to keep an eye on the IGBC (InterGalatic Banking Clan), Muuns.

; It was simply understood that this is what Carmine would do with her life when she came of age, though she had the privilege of choice in which function she wanted to serve the Empire.

; Carmine joined the Empire with little fanfare, but quickly rose through ranks for her father’s name as well as her decisiveness and understanding that casualties were an unfortunate loss in the war against the Rebels. She joined a conglomerate corporation and became head of their public relations department. It suited her. She was the face of her ship’s negotiations with rebel hot spots and known harbourers. She would speak with honey, but there was venom behind her eyes.

; With the fall of the Empire, Carmine secured passage with several cohorts who fled their dying ship. The ship was attacked by Rebels. She escaped with wounds to her face and respiratory system.

Hooks
; Like earning credits, talking about credits, laundering credits? So does Carmine!
; Are you Rebel scum? ... She won't apologize, but she can be civil!
; She might be looking for a hobby. Got something to teach her?

Strange Charm
New developments:

a) we'll probably be operating out of spaceport
b) we'll probably be collecting space junk
c) we'll be the go-to people to fix your ship and build/repair/pimp stuff

Post by Elena Harko » Sun Sep 30, 2018 5:17 am

Elena Harko

Gender - Female
Age - 19
Height – 5'3" (1.61m)
Build - Lean
Eyes - Hazel
Hair - Auburn

Elena Harko is a young woman who has been a part of the Noventa's Providencetown area all her life; even if she wasn't at the forefront of the goings-on in the region she had been a presence in the area since a fairly young age at the fringes of what could be referred to as the less reputable sections of Providencetown proper. Despite her young age she has a knack for technology, which makes a bit of sense considering the maintenance and upkeep that she had to perform on a semi-regular basis. Elena had all four limbs replaced by prostheses, and wasn't particularly interested in hiding them. While many cover their prostheses with careful augmentations and synth skin to make them look at close to 'real' limbs as possible her arms and legs were clearly mechanical in nature, a mixture of plates and sections matching her skin tone along with sleek black metal. Besides just a general knack for technology her specialty is cybernetics and cyber-augmentation, something that is often taken advantage of by the aforementioned criminal element. It wasn't uncommon for one Rullarc Mulgin to call on her when things turned badly in order to fix some of the more extreme injuries that some of his men may sustain, replacing damaged limbs and the like with careful precision all while maintaining a fairly sunny and casual disposition considering the circumstances.

Elena's build is fairly lean, her focus on maintaining her prosthetic limbs translating to taking care of herself in general and keeping a fairly athletic build. Her hair is kept at just short of shoulder length, a dark reddish auburn not quite long enough to pull back that she often loops behind her ears to keep it out of her face. Her face was covered by a light dusting of freckles across her cheeks and the bridge of her nose. Her mode of dress varied widely depending on where she was and who she was with. If she was just tinkering something as simple as a tank-top and shorts wasn't uncommon, comfortable, light, casual. If she was working in a more 'official capacity', if you could call it that, or traveling around town she more often wore a mechanic's utility suit, durable pants and a light shirt with a duster of sorts over the top full of pockets and straps to keep her tools.

Full Picture

Hooks:
-Surely the replacement of all of her limbs must have been due to some sort of fairly major event, but often when it's brought up she avoids the question or simply shrugs, and the inquiry has been known to cause a few dirty looks from some of Providencetown's residents that perhaps new better than to ask.
-Those with cybernetics, or need for them, may find it beneficial to meet here, for obvious reasons.
-She seems fairly close with Rullarc Mulgin, though it made sense for a criminal leader to want to keep people with specialized skills close.

Post by CLL-MT9 » Sat Sep 29, 2018 8:27 pm

CLL-M29 -- "Clementine"

Model - Cybot Galactica CLL-M2 Ordnance Loadlifter (variant)
Age - 28 years operational, 26 years since last memory wipe
Height – 2.5m
Mass – Lots
Build - Hulking
Eyes - Single central photoreceptor (black)
Standard Equipment - Large manipulator arms, repulsorlift-assist generator, binary vocabulator, blast-resistant chassis
Notable Features – Battered and scored exterior plating, circuit diagram style “tattoos” (ala Dr. Aphra), bulky chain “necklace” made out of burnt-out, flattened, and holed restraining bolts, low-quality basic-capable vocoder (limited processing power for vocabulary selection, slow delivery of speech, poor volume control), extendible "fine" manipulators (hand-sized opposable graspers)

Loadlifters are a common sight at any spaceport. They're big, dumb, paddle-armed Class Fives that speak only binary and make sure cargo gets loaded and unloaded on time. Clementine looks a little unusual compared to the rest, with clawed arms and a frame small enough to fit through a regular door when he hunches down. Those with experience on capital ships or with a good memory for droid models will recognize him as the kind designed to haul explosives around military vessels.

Far from regulation spit-and-polish, he's got the breadth and depth of idiosyncracies of a droid operating on the fringe for a long time. His battered and carbon-scored chassis has been etched with circuit-diagram style "tattoos," he wears jewelry made out of crushed restraining bolts, and sports a couple of clear after-market modifications, like normal-sized manipulators and a cheap but basic-capable vocabulator that gives him slow, simple speech. In conversation, he comes off as friendly, curious, and perhaps brighter than you might expect of a loadlifter -- but that's not saying much. He does pepper his conversation with offhand references to a variety of sapients and places he's seen and done (some kind of?) business with, including names that would prick the ears of careful watchers of the galactic underworld, but often proves confused or vague in his recollections if he's asked about the details. He can also, when made to feel pushed, insulted, or belittled (for example, for his intellect or non-organic status) be quite frightening before he even throws his first table across the cantina.

Further, while he seems to be technically "owned" by Kaneesa Gee, proprietor of the Wookiee's Codpiece, and is employed there lifting kegs and removing drunks, he takes free range of Providencetown, where he acts very similarly to many of the local organic laborers. When not at the bar, he can often be found around the spaceport, picking up a few credits offering his services lifting loads, swapping stories with spacers (and spacer’s droids), and patronizing shady gathering places. Many of Providencetown’s denizens have seen his hulking form around, particularly if their livelihood touches on the grey or black markets, and he’s personally opened up many otherwise “no droids” establishments by virtue of his implacable (and largely blaster-proof) desire to mix with Providencetown's sketchier elements as an equal.

Hooks:
  • Move cargo through the Providencetown spaceport? Clementine might have helped lift it!
  • Been to the Codpiece, or other grey-market watering holes? Clementine likes to swap stories.
  • Have you been involved in the galactic underworld, on Noventa or off? Clementine spent the last few years building up an extremely eclectic resume all around the Outer Rim, and might have been on either side of many different deals.
  • Have radical political opinions? Clementine may not fully understand them, but seems interested and supportive.

Post by Vikki » Sat Sep 29, 2018 5:48 am

Vikki
Gender - Female
Age - late teens-early 20s
Height – 5’8
Build - Agile, thin, quite pretty
Hair - Long, black. Kept straight.
Eyes - Brown

A very interesting individual, the name 'Vikki' is associated with what is often claimed as a myth on the planet of Noventa. A girl that can get into any place, and steal anything, without leaving any evidence or ever being caught. Some of the stories around the name are even wilder and more extreme; she can mind control people into doing things without them ever remembering, she can walk through walls....

But these are all myths spread by the lower classes, right?

The person who may or may not be Vikki is a young woman with long black hair and soft brown eyes. Her clothes when she's out and about differ from moment to moment; she could be wearing more revealing clothes one day, and reserved clothes the next day. She's often difficult to find, but leaving a note at a certain local bar has been known to get her attention.

There is sometimes an odd feeling about the girl as if there's something more to her than just a pretty face and hot body, but she hasn't allowed anyone to get close enough to find out. At least, as far as anyone knows...

Syzygy Anion
Gender - Female
Age - 19
Height – 6’2”
Weight – 160 lbs
Build - Svelte
Hair - Indigo
Eyes - Indigo
Notable Features – Pink Skin

The young Zeltron pilot has often been seen flitting about the spaceport in association with the Strange Charm. Syzygy takes pride in being the ship's pilot, but she's never seen a ship she didn't want to fly. Her zeal and skill for piloting were inherited from her father, along with an old medal of his she always carries. Beyond that, however, she rarely discusses her parents or her past. She's far more interested in other people and other places than in talking about herself.

There is an air of naiveté and inexperience about her. She tries to hide it behind bravado and confidence, but subtle changes in the hue of her skin sometimes betray her. She is still somewhere between being a teenager and an adult. At times, Syzygy shows unquestionable maturity and keen insight. Sometimes, she seems oblivious to what others find obvious and can become excited by the simplest things. This may be due to her age, her upbringing, or an aspect of Zeltron physiology. Regardless, she's always friendly and always ready to fly.

Post by Yara Suhr » Fri Sep 21, 2018 1:41 am

Dr. Yara Suhr
Gender - Female
Species - Human
Age - 31
Height – 1.67 meters
Weight – approx. 60kg
Build - Long-waisted with some gentle curves; trim enough, though not especially fit
Hair - Red, wavy
Eyes - Green

ImageImageImage

The chief physician of the Neda Ulaby Memorial Medical Center is a trim, perennially tired-looking human woman with thick red hair, a light complexion prone to freckles, and green eyes. Her day-to-day appearance balances practicality with crisp professionalism, from boots to clothes (sometimes topped with a white coat) to the light touch of conservative cosmetics. The roughly cast metal coin she wears on a thin silver chain at her throat is a slight incongruity, though not everyone would even notice it. She speaks Basic with a Core Worlds accent, more or less.

Hooks:
  • Involved with the Rebel Alliance any time from about 1 ABY on? Yara was with the Rebels until after Jakku, usually in a medical capacity.
  • Ever needed to see a doctor on Noventa? Or just hung around town here? Yara has been on-planet at the clinic for about a year.
  • If you had connections to Core Worlds academia prior to 2 ABY--especially in the biomedical sciences--feel free to PM for more info.

Raine
Gender - Female
Age - 25
Height – 1.75m (5'9")
Weight – 65 kg (144 lbs)
Build - Athletic
Hair - Black
Eyes - Amber
Notable Features – Speaks with a peculiar (Clone-like) accent

Dark eyed and dark complected, Raine has this air about her that's definitely one of a soldier. She always seems so focused on her tasks, whatever they may be, that it could be a little imposing to even approach her. Regardless, she does have that accent that draws attention. It's almost like how old veterans of the Clone Wars speak....

Farkas Lowca
Gender - Male
Age - 48
Height – 5'8"
Weight – 170 lbs
Build - Few extra pounds
Hair - Balding
Eyes - Brown
Notable Features – Glasses, well groomed

Farkas is a member of the crew of the Strange Charm, alongside Sharn and Syzygy. He is a friendly if distant man that seems to always be thinking. He is quick to greet and glad to make conversation about topics that aren't personal in nature, particularly topics related to computers, data engineering, droid engineering and various games. He doesn't like fighting and clearly is not built for it. It's clear that he never grew out of being a nerd from his days in school, though he did mature and became a very responsible adult nerd.

Kaneesa Gee

Post by Kaneesa Gee » Tue Sep 18, 2018 6:04 am

Character Name: Kaneesa Gee
Species: Gungan
Gender - Male
Age - 46
Height – 1.85 M
Weight – 130 lbs
Build - Gangly
Hair - N/A
Eyes - Brown
Notable Features – Speaks in a patois that is a mix of spacer basic and a bit of Gungan basic

Backstory
Kaneesa left Naboo about a decade ago, though he tends to be very light on the details about why. Since then, he took to roaming the galaxy at large, mostly staying to the Outer Rim because of the poor treatment of xeno species in the Core. He came upon Noventa a while the fiercest fighting between the Rebellion and Empire raged, and began to work his way up as a small time grifter and fixer. After saving up, Kanessa managed to get together enough to set up his own shop, a smuggling operation based out of a cantina, effectively a Blue Collar version of the very successful Madame Vida, an operator who Kaneesa admires. Right now, the Wookie’s Codpiecce is a place where those in Provincetown can have a drink, listen to music, talk shop, find jobs (Kaneesa often personally helps) and get their hands on rare items that Kaneesa and the crew pull together. The fact that it is something of a dual front is something of an open secret, but Kaneesa keeps palms greased, and is just as likely to help someone get rare medicine they need as much as something for a more nefarious purpose.

Hooks
* Do you want Noventa to be independent? Kaneesa will talk your ear off.
* Do you need something rare or hard to find? Kaneesa is your man.
* Are you a criminal looking for work? Talk to the bartender
* Do you want a neutral meeting site? Kaneesa prides himself on providing a safe, discreet spot for people to do business.
* Some patrons seems to sense an odd buzz around Kaneesa. It's hard to explain.
* Do you love jizz? Kaneesa keeps the music going almost constantly

Weight: 275lbs (124 kg)
Build: Well muscled
Hair: White (formally blonde)
Eyes: Blue

Character art

Description
Korvalus Dunbri, more commonly known as "Kor" is a beast of a man standing well over six feet tall and with the muscular physique of one who has spent their life training and building their muscles. Kor is not a classically handsome man but many seem to say he is more ruggedly handsome with his beard and the scar the goes over his left eye and the myriad of scars visible on his muscular arms. His hair has succumb to his age even if the rest of his body has fought off aging his golden blonde hair has slowly lost its color and is now a stark white.

Not much is known about the large man that appeared on Noventa some months ago with a young girl who both seem to be tied to the 12 Parsecs From Nowhere where Kor works as a bouncer, stopping fights and collecting on overdue bar tabs. Kor doesn't talk about his past ever really and clams up when asked about it, which is in addition to his natural cageyness, Kor is gruff which sometimes borders on rudeness, he has little patience for things that annoy him and zero patience for anything that threatens the bar or Quinn.

Hooks

* Like working out? Kor doesn't stay in excellent shape sitting around all day, Lets hit the gym!
* Like drinking? 12 Parsecs has decent stuff let's grab a drink.
*got stories? Kor loves listening to stories but rarely tells any from more than a couple years ago.

Name:Jozk Hunari
Species: Human (Nar Shaddaa/Noventian)
Gender: Male
Age: 62
Marital Status: Widower
Height: 1.84 m
Weight: 79 kg.
Build: Normal
Hair: White
Eyes: Brown
Notable Features: Uses specs, scarred face and body from burning

Description

Jozk is an old engineer and shipwright from Noventa. Although he was not born there, his family emigrated from Nar Shaddaa when he was just a baby, so he has lived there for almost all his life. He studied engineering on Dac/Mon Cala and was part of the young political movement that swept through the Outer Rim during the time before the Naboo Crisis. He was also an active member of Count Dooku's movement for Equality and Self Determination for the Outer Rim that transformed into the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

During the Clone Wars he worked as an active engineer in the local ship foundry that created parts for the Providence-class carrier destroyers and during the Outer Rim Sieges he was part of the local Noventian Militia that fought, alongside the Droid Army, against the clone troopers and the Republic. His wife and son died during the siege and he suffered grievous wounds from burning.

After the war, he was held prisoner in the same foundry, working as a slave for the new Empire. During that time in servitude he managed to continue to fight against the Republic/Empire by subtly sabotaging some of the TIE-series fighters that were produced there.

Jozk never joined the Rebellion. To him the Rebellion was trying to re-create the same inefficient, corrupt and centralized bureaucratic government he fought against during the Clone Wars. In his eyes the Republic and the Empire are one and the same. Also that those groups of rebels didn't have a common purpose that united them other than fighting against the Empire was a sign for a doomed future since the corruption and bureaucracy of the Senate and the Core Worlds would return to exploit the Outer Rim and their resources.

He dislikes the current problems that his planet, and the Outer Rim at large, is enduring from the post-collapse of the Empire and the establishment of the 'New' Republic. Although he is old, he cannot endure watching that the same system that 'enslaved' the Outer Rim planets to the Core Worlds is being recreated. He will fight against the Republic as he has always has done.

Hooks

  • Are you a Quarren? Jozk studied on Dac and has a sympathetic views about their problems.

  • Jozk does not like pro-Republic nor pro-Empire people. Especially if they are from the Core Worlds.
  • Jozk is a political activist for self determination and equality for the Outer Rim planets.
