Rough Night [Day 6, Early Morning]

Post by Honorordeath » Thu Oct 25, 2018 3:44 pm

Aislea Griche let herself fall back into a chair, folding her arms across the table to server as a resting point for her head. People had died here last night, right under her nose. Their loss weighed heavily upon her heart but she kept herself strong. People still needed her, even now as things had gotten safer, but she was exhausted, so damn exhausted.

The Last Stop's defenses have been constructed, the town now held a small garrison of frontiersmen and hunters of various walks of life. Once word had gotten out about the attack almost everyone with a lick of knowledge seemed to be interested. Some came to hunt the creatures responsible and others came to ensure that those who lived here were safe. From all accounts gathered the creatures skulked in the night with such a pristine ability that they were nigh undetectable. This prompted a series of pressure alarms and other lookouts. No one wandered The Last Stop without a rifle in hand.
