"Calm down, we aren't going to hurt you unless you do anything to make us. Carry that stuff with you and follow us back to the Last Stop where you can hunker down with the other townsfolk. Is it just you two? Or are there more of you?" His voice was firm but not intimidating or threatening.

"J-j-j-just don't kill us, w-w-we didn't mean to, we swear," choked up one of the boys, his voice squeaking from the fear of it all. They'd never seen an Iktotchi, for certain, and Kor looked right about ready to chop them in two from their perception.

Relying on Kor's imposing presence to keep the kids in line, Temra slowly stepped forward. His voice was soft and hopefully calming as he spoke to the youths.

"You heard the man, put all the stuff down nice and easy. Then we'll escort ypu back to the Last Stop, where you'll be safe from these creatures stalking your town, with the other citizens."

They were scared kids, and Kor needn't flex his threatening posture to cower them already. They'd been stunned still the moment the two of them entered the door. Although they had been spoken to, the two teenage boys could only focus on the axes wielded by those who had suddenly entered the room. Stunned to silent stillness.

Kor nodded and looked to the young people in front of him. "You will leave that stuff here and come with us to sort all this out." He narrowed his eyes "one way or another." He slid he his axe into a holder on his back and crossed his large arms over his chest his eyes hard and cold looking at the looters

Would like to do a coercion check to get them to surrender their stuff and come with them. Also fearsome might come into play where they make a fear test of easy difficulty.

Temra was not practiced in breach tactics, but followed in behind Kor. "There is always someone looking to make a few quick credits off the misfortunes of others. You should be ashamed of yourselves." Temra chides the kids.

"I think that sum of goods, as a donation to the rebuilding fund for the village, should just about cover their rescue tax, don't you Kor?"

Ignoring the distraction those that come in from the back are in prime place to stop two of the four from running out as soon as Kor and Temra enter. Temra and Kor find themselves with the slower of the group, arms still wide with loot they carried in their hands. They were all younger kids, people from the small village who were caught red handed in their attempt to profit off of this tragedy. They were in their late teens and held onto the collective life savings of a few houses and were in the process of adding this very house to that list.

The first two, by Kor and Temra, stand there dumbfounded with their loot still in their hands. By Aily and Quinn the other two young folk seem to hold themselves low, as if they were looking for another way to escape passed them.

Quinn simply followed Aily, letting her take the lead.

When Temra reached one Kor breached the door clearly practiced at the maneuver, axe at the ready he quickly checked the corners and blind spots of the room first to ensure they wouldn't be ambushed before observing the rest of the room. He moved in slowly giving room for Temra to follow.

Knowing that the other pair was depending on them on the other side, Aily put the shed in the back of her mind as she looked for the back door to the house and quietly crept inside.

After giving the others time to get into position, Temra held up a clawed hand as he hefted his own ax in the other and began a 3 second countdown, ticking down his fingers as he looked to Kor.

Three....

Two....

One....

There were none, as far as she could tell, except for the bouncing light and how the heat of the lamp seemed to affect the surrounding area. As clear as it could be the lamp was attached to a long wire that was perhaps caught on something elsewhere? Normally, such lights, might have had the wire hanging along the roof. Perhaps someone or something was caught on the other side?

Aily turned the dials on her binoculars to magnify the image and looked for heat signatures behind the shed walls.

From inside there was the sound of rustling coming from the front door, just inside. Someone or something was digging through stuff. Just after the others parted.

While, in the back, the others caught a glimpse of a light moving erratically in the work shed alongside the back of someone's house. Something was going on over there, but it was some ways away from the current house. [Medium]

Quinn nodded. Surrounding the place seemed smart, and she moved to join Aly.

Kor nodded agreeing with the plan Temra had put forth, facing an unknown enemy one shouldn't be isolated. He hefted his axe and started to move slowly toward the door ready for action but allowing the others time to move around the back into position.

Temra pointed to himself and Kor then the front door before pointing to Quinn and Ailya and the back.

He wasn't exactly a tactical genius, but he'd feel better if no one was completely isolated, after all that was the warning they were given, that the predators seemed to have a habit of picking of individuals rather than groups.

Soren motions quietly to the others, signaling that they should go into the house while she swings around the backside to make sure nothing leaves from the other side and waits for acceptance or rejection...

Completely out of his element with the tracking and hunting elements, Temra found himself waiting with bated breath for the hint of positive information.

Unfortunately there was so much movement through here that it was nearly impossible to determine any sense of direction of any of the sets of tracks. However, what she was able to determine was the fact that a few people, boots, had moved through here somewhat recently. and there was at least one solid print she could use to match against another, if it ever came to be relevant.

[Hopefully this works out for you, I admit, I had to think for a little while to get this far. Wasn't a whole lot of information there!]
