Fey hadn't really tried this before - her experience with piloting being limited to being Lena's co-pilot only because she seemed to have the most aptitude for it compared to Jelna and Kai. But this was a good place to improve on that!

The Rutian twi'lek had no trouble sweet-talking someone to let her drive their racing pod, and she made some sweet promises that she'd return it in good condition.

The first lap was a slow start for her, as she was still getting used to the feel of driving this thing, but the following rounds, she managed to do ok. Not enough to be a big winner, but she had kept her promise. [i]Alright! I might want to try this again![/i]

The mysterious racer TK who placed in the top three the previous day made her way back to the hangar and found her sponsor from the day before. For some reason the sponsor brought up a complaint about how the pod was treated or something and so TK offered 5% more of the winnings today to calm him down. The deal was struck and TK was free to prep the speeder for her upcoming race...

TK eased into the race in her first lap, not taking any significant risks as she acclimated herself to the track. Once she had the lay of the land set in her head, however, she plowed through the course with much more speed in the subsequent two laps. Besides the star of the track, it looked like TK had taken the 2nd best time for of all the racers by the time she finished.

Syzygy lined up with the other racers in her borrowed pod, not bothered by the weather. When the race began, she gunned the engines, accelerating quickly and pushing the engines to their limits. She was fast. But, she was unfamiliar with the course. As skilled as she was, that held her back severly. She knew she could do better.

Despite the sleeting rain, the races still occur. Some of the more veteran racers choose not to participate, however, Yasmin still leads the pack, her natural intuition seemingly aiding her abilities. Plenty of chances for pilots to make their name here, or to show their foolhardiness!
