"I'm not surprised" Kai replied with a shake of his head. "The way the soldiers acted when we just up and left, they weren't there just for the money. There was some loyalty there for some reason or other. Means she wasn't working for some corporation like she was wanting to believe." It more or less meant a government of some sort. "I think you're right though. We look into these storm troopers, and why they are here."

"Because you're right we need a better source of income."

"Don't know how well it could pay, but impressions are that Imps are not well-liked on the planet and the locals might have some reward." Besides, if they were Imperial remnants, it was a nice chance for a little payback. "And well, if the local law-enforcement think we're good freelancers to work with, we could set up something there."

Lena piped up from the cockpit. "For once, I agree. She has our contact details if she does want us, bt that attitude was.. no thanks. Had enough of that." She flipped a few switches on the dashboard, setting it on autopilot, and swiveled her chair towards the others. "That is concerning. Besides that, it would be good to get some kind of job besides salvaging. Not that it's not exciting, but we need more of a buffer."

Fey was the first to break the silence.

"Well, you guys were right that the job offer we dropped had a bad stink to it. Did a search around on the Holonet earlier today to see if I could learn anything about who the mystery lady was - but it seems like Catherine Maguire does not exist." She casually pushed her lekku back over her shoulders. "I say we drop that thing entirely. And maybe investigate into this matter of Imperial troopers possibly being on the planet, judging by those drop pods."

Lena was silent in the cockpit, deep in thought for now.

As Lena got the Phoenix in position, Fey got the monitors up and running.

"Not too bad." Kai replied sipping from his own cup. "But, my workouts usually help me sleep like a rock."

"If you're not sleeping too well maybe you can join me for one? Nothing quite like exercise to help you sleep."

Fey yawned as she fired up the monitors. Maybe this planet was giving her an uneasy feeling, or maybe she was just thinking too much about those Imperial drop pods and what it could possibly lead to that she was feeling a bit pressed by the past. That supernatural sense of dread was... new to her, and it was giving her the creeps.

"Hmmm... how you guys been sleeping?" she murmured, leaning back in her seat as she sipped her caf.
