Salvage Operations

Salvaging in the Debris takes one time slot. It may be done up to three times per day. To salvage usable/profitable debris requires. Only one assist maneuver is allowed per attempt, as realistically only two sentients could be at the sensor console of their ship.

1.) Scanning the System - A hard computers check, upgraded once, and with two setback dice, due to the volatile nature of the crowded debris field, to use the ship's sensors to find valuable items.

Success on this check finds a valuable load, worth 300 credits.

For every 2 advantages, the value of the salvage goes up by 50 credits.

A Triumph on Success doubles the final value of the item.

Double Triumph, please see me.

Threats on a success subtract 25 credits for every 2 threats generated. Odd amounts of threat are taken as ship systen strain, as the amount of DRADIS warbling takes a toll on the ship sensors.

A Despair on Success reduces the final total by 100 credits, as it turns out your sensors picked up more junk than anything worth while.

Advantages on failure result in finding some trifling amount, 25 credits worth for every three advantages.

Three threats on failure, or a despair... message me when that happens.
