"Your opinion is noted." He gives a mild shrug. "Unfortunately, the Vigo's security does not allow for much leyway in our approach. Maybe if we had more time to prepare for this particular job another approach. However, our financier has determined this would be the best chance we have to strike, while he is distracted with the major events going on planet-side. We would not get another shot at this again. Though, if you see a particular flaw in it, I would be interested in hearing your opinion. We are all risking our lives here, after all."

She shrugged. "I still don't like your approach, but I'm in."

"Exactly." The Lepi nods his head. "I expect you all to earn your paycheck on this one." He looks over at Syzygy. "Is that acceptable for you and your crew, then?"

((Go ahead and post in here to confirm your involvement. Any further questions about the event, ask them in here.))

"So, a great bit of distraction, keeping eyes on me while something else happens in the background?" Kaneesa grins. "We do that nearly every night. I won't jinx us, but you've got a plan there Mr. Mind." Kaneesa decides to stick with Clem's appelation of their employer,.

The twi'lek nodded again. "Gotcha." Her job was a bit more risky it seemed, but that didn't mean she would shy away. She did like a bit risky stuff.

"Clear enough for me." Kai replied, his task seemed like it would be shooting any guards that needed it. The others would lead the way.

The Lepi kind of stares at the droid, though it is not that apparent due to his helmet. He wasn't really sure how to respond to that. "Uhh...you...will carry them team. Yes. Especially if anyone is hurt. There also may be a door or two you might need to muscle up, who knows."

Flession wrote:"Very well." The Lepi nods his head underneath his helmet and looks on.

Clementine leans forward, his servos whirring to take the unevenly distributed weight.

"Our targets are the vaults inside of Providencetown. The crashed ship has a lot of off-limits part, mostly due to the dangerous portions of it, but also because the Vigo has established a lot of deadly traps inside of it. Not to mention the guards, security measures, and other things that might pop up along the way."

He bobs. "Uh-huh."

"Good news is that their entire focus is on the Imperial fleet today, as the offensive will pull some of their forces to manipulate the battlefield. With the added benefit of the weather, we should be able fly under the radar, grab our pay dirt, and get out before while they're unsure of what is happening until we're ready to leave. Our entrance point will Cherr's. They have access to the vaults from their buildings to store their weapons for safekeeping. That's where the Hacker and the Thief come in. You're to get us into that building."

He bobs again. "I got it."

"Fortunately for us, Cherr has been planted within the Republic forces for today and will not be in, so all we need to do is break into the building. After that, we move into the vaults. If for whatever reason we're not able to get in, we'll have to take a alternative route thru the casino. That means there will be a lot more eyes on us. Kanessa, we're going to have to rely on you to help us navigate to the back room. We'll still get in there, but then they'll know someone's in the safes, authorized or not. Means we'll have to keep our guard up."

Another bob. "Yeah, okay."

"Once we're in, we'll head thru a few security check-points, which we'll have access. That will be where the traps our made and hopefully the Chiss is able to come thru with that device. If not, I have some ion grenades we will use to disable most of them. Droid needs to steer clear of it, but otherwise we should be fine. That will be noticeable, and probably start set off a few alarms."

He pauses to allow those to process what's been said.

A bob. "Right with you, Master Mind."

"After that it should be smooth sailing to the paydirt. We grab it, deal with the alarms, kill any guards that are there and we make our way to the exit, which our pilot will take care of. There's a small hole we're going to make a bit larger and have her ready. We put the payload into the attached buoy, throw it out in the middle of the fields, and then our target collects it. After that, make sure you're not being followed, scorch the vehicle, and find your own way home. Everyone clear?"

Another bob, deeper and more decisive. "Sure thing." A pause. "Uhhh... when do I lift things?"

Clementine visibly rotates to look from Kaneesa to the Lepi, his usual default willingness to go along with authoritative crime figures running into having his regular boss and the Mastermind in the same room. The matching long ears probably don't help either. He quickly resolves his difficulty: the big score is at hand.

"Sure thing, boss."

"He wasn't sure what a Vigo was, but he had the option to back out, which was good enough for him. Plus Fey seemed okay with it, so Kai nodded. "Okay."

Well, that would be interesting. And between her and Kai, this job would be profitable. Sadly not as profitable as having money dumped in their lap, but hey, some people had to work hard for the money.

So she gave a nod, showing that she understood. "Understood."

He looks over at the Droid and nods. "Well then, now that everyone is here..." He sighs and looks onward. "What I have to say here is not to leave this room. You are allowed to reject this offer at the full conclusion, but you will remain here in this building until the job is complete. There are no exceptions to the rule, as you'll soon learn, the prize we're after is held by someone who has enough power and influence to kill all of us in a instant. Yet we are to go after it because it needs to be done to save this planet."

He looks over at you all. "Now that you understand, and know what is at stake for you, I will reveal myself to you all. We are all risking ourselves for a high payday, so it would not be right for me, as the mastermind of this role, not to reveal myself."

The Shadowcloak slowly turns off, the darkness around the being dissipates and he carefully removes the item from his chair, revealing his true form: a tall white-fur Lepi.

"I have done over 20 major heists, 4 of them for the man who has funded this operation. I have never attempted to rob a Vigo before, because it would be safer to fire a loaded blaster at your head, but due to the factors of the Imperials, as well as the proper amount of preparation by a seasoned veteran, we have a good chance of succeeding with a large amount of pay dirt. Even better, we'll likely get away with it. Does everyone understand what I've said so far."

Loadlifters in general were programmed with two competing drives around time: one that emphasized the importance of punctuality and one that imbued them with great patience. You neither wanted your spaceport getting gummed up by tardy constructs nor wanted the multi-ton droids getting bored while waiting for the next rush. Neither of these had much to do with getting slightly lost, which is what happened to Clementine. The Green Thumb wasn’t part of his usual routes through the city.

So it is a slightly sheepish droid that squeezes himself through the last bit of tunnel and in to the underground room. The emotion is not conveyed through his voice as he says “Hello, boss. Hello, Master Mind. Hey, guys.” The tone is, as always, flat and slightly too loud. But experienced Clementine observers will note that he only slowly, and not fully, expands his frame from the dimensions required to fit through the door, and his shuffles to a suitable spot to participate in the meeting is a little hangdog. Only when he gets there does he start to peer around and register the not-Kaneesa familiar faces.

The man stares at everyone arriving and the Gungan bringing the booze. It seemed rather odd to want to have a drink in the morning, especially when they came here to discuss the job going on within a few hours.

"Kanessa Gee." The voice echoed and disembodied in the room, its effects clearly enhanced by the cloak he wore. "Have you come here for a social gathering or have you come here for a job? Where is your droid?"

Kaneesa strolls in, a pair of sunglasses on his stalk eyes.

"Alright bruddas, I have brought the holy treasure. In one hand." Kaneesa raises his left arm, with a tray. "If Kaff, fresh brewed. But if you are like me, and need a bit of the Rancor who bit you" Kaneesa raises the other arm, with another tray of cups. "A bit of Wyern's Reserve to help with your nerves."

Arriving with Kai was the twi'lek, who kept close to the big guy. There had been some heated discussion of why he was getting involved with this too, with some "you're not going there"... but well, in the end they were both here.

It was too early in the morning for this. Wasn't heists supposed to happen at night?

Kai was the next to arrive stepping into the places and taking a seat, his eyes not looking at the masked man but instead a caf maker. They had a caf maker right?

Syzygy arrived promptly. She didn't care for all of the subterfuge and runaround, but she was curious about the job. She took a seat and waited for whomever else was coming.
